This diner is great, the food was good, but more than anything – the reason for my five star rating – is the friendly waitress, she was so nice to us, we really appreciated how friendly, genuine, honest, and helpful she was! I would definitely recommend this place!

You gotta stop at the Red Rock Diner when you’re heading through Carbondale. They have great food, the atmosphere is awesome, and they have cocktails too. It’s everything a diner should be, and a great place to stop when you’re on the road.

Fantastic little diner! Food was excellent and the beef in the bacon cheeseburger was from a local ranch in Carbondale! Service was fast and friendly. Price for 2 to eat plus an appetizer is comparable to say Denny’s or Perkins. The walls are covered in old advertising so it added a nice touch of Americana. Last but not least is the view. Step outside and you have an a excellent view of the mountains.

Waitress spilled water twice on us. Took forever to even take our order. Took close to an hour for the food to arrive.
Food was horrible! Weird mystery meat in the veggie burrito. Burnt eggs. Orders were wrong.
Everything is horrible at this place. It should either be shut down or they should fire everyone who worked there on this day.

Went to the diner on 12/27/19 and we received wonderful service; however, coffee pots need a good cleaning and the breakfast special today was disgusting with the biscuits being doughy, the eggs overly runny, and the sausage was as fake and plastic tasting as can get. The waitress told us we should order something else next time instead of just apologizing and saying she would take it up with management.

This place rocks! The staff was AMAZING! Their banter was entertaining which was awesome as I was alone. I needed comfort food and had the chicken fried steak. But it was the green beans that made my meal! REAL, FRESH roasted green beans! Not the canned mush that seems to be served everywhere else. And real mashed potatoes, skin and all! Just what I needed after a 4 hour drive. Thanx for being there!

50’s style diner. Ate here for breakfast. Staff was incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. The prices were great. My ONLY complaint was that it was hot. I understand in winter the heat will be on, but even my Nana would have been complaining. Still, I will return my next time through!
