Left much to be desired. Prices were close to those of Pebble Beach, so I expected a lot. Service was great. Restaurant was freezing cold, our room with the clocks was cool. Artichoke bisque was great. My $42 ribeye was ordered medium rare and came without any pink. Way too over done. Unless changes are made I would not go back. To many better options. Staff was nice and drinks were good. Food came quick too.

Made a reservation for 2 to celebrate our 27th anniversary. My wife and I enjoyed it very much. No need to go to Carmel/PG/Monterey to eat such delish cuisines. Good old downtown Salas came through with this jewel of a restaurant. We had the mushroom soup, artichoke appetizer, Lamb and calamari dinner. Servers Mireya and Juan were awesome and went out of their way to make it a pleasant and memorable experience. The bar and bartender were very generous with our drinks. Super highly recommend it for an anniversary and/or some type of celebration. We wish the recent owners lots of success.

I’ve eaten here before but it has been a while. I highly recommend Patria. our waitress Lupita was everything you would want while eating dinner in a nice restaurant. she listened, she knew what she was talking about, she had a smile on her face the whole time we were there. she was genuine, and caring, and she remembered small details that really matter. she remembered my mom and her partner by name when they walked in. she was just an all around magnificent human being! thank you for making our experience so worthwhile, and giving my mom super recommendations since she likes to try a variety on the menu. also the creme brulee at the end was the perfect touch so thank you for spending the time with us to get to know what each of our pallets craved. you are legit and Patria is lucky to have you and Orlando!

Our bartender on Saturday 11/22 was the absolute best. She was super helpful, attentive, and made the best drinks we have had in a while. She used fresh ingredients and you could definitely taste the love. I’m looking forward to going back and testing the menu. Thanks you for the delicious fresh lime and Cadillac margaritas. I orded the chicken breast with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The chicken was so dry that it was difficult to chew. The mashed potatoes weren’t great and the portion of them was small. I’m glad that I paid extra to have them put the garlic butter sauce on the chicken because otherwise I don’t think it would tasted very good. For the price (about $30), I thought it would be cooked better. I came with a group and I didn’t want to send it back and have to wait while everyone else ate their food. Also, the Sprite and root beer tasted weird. The root beer almost tasted like they mixed in iced tea and I couldn’t tell you what the Sprite tasted like.

Recently dined here on two different occasions and were very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was pleasant, the wait staff was welcoming and attentive. The bar was well stocked and cocktails well made. Wine list includes some nice central coast selections. Most importantly the food was nicely prepared and on point. Or favorite dishes were steamed clams, beet salad, bucatini pasta w/ blackened salmon, seafood capellini, margherita pizza and filet mignon.

This place is in the heart of Downtown in Salinas and I can’t make up my mind if the food is better or the service and staff. But one thing is that the staff is always customer focused and goes above and beyond. If I give 10 out of 10 for the food and drinks, I would give a 20 out of 10 for the staff and service.

Rafa H has given me such a bad experience I will never come back. I have been to many restaurants and have had food allergies all of my life. I have tried ordering many things before and the servers have always communicated with me about what I can and cannot eat. My service was okay. My table of four was here for an hour and half, close to fifty minutes of waiting for our food. My lamb filet was supposed to come with lamb, potatoes augratin, broccoli, and a wine sauce. I had previously tried ordering a pizza and was told the dough has eggs. No problem I ordered the lamb. I waited close to an hour to receive a plate with three bits of lamb, a pile of plain steamed broccoli, all covered in the sauce. After we barely saw Rafa H all night he comes and I ask where the potatoes are. He said they had eggs and some nuts sprinkled on them. I was not told. He then tried to say that I should have told him I was unhappy with my meal and he would have remedied it. No. Rafa H should have come back to my table and told me “The potatoes have your allergens. Is there something that you would like to switch to something else?” Instead Rafa H tried to say that I should have told him. Safe to say I will never be coming back here. I am not one to leave comments on restaurants, but when someone does not do their job correctly and tries to blame me I absolutely will be doing so. Rafa H should be retrained and retaught.

I’ve been here twice & loved it both times. Food delicious and exquisitely prepared. Large portion. Fantastic wait staff. Superb waiter brought a carafe without my asking for one. A lovely evening both times. Highly recommend.
