This was the worst sushi I have ever had in my life.
I’m honestly in shock.
We arrived at 4:00 pm, but we were only let in at 4:08 pm, even though that is when you say you start taking orders. We were greeted with an unfriendly and annoyed attitude, which was already a bad sign.
We ordered $85 worth of sushi, expecting a beautiful, generous set.
What we received was absolutely disgusting.
The rolls are tiny, badly made, and almost empty inside. There is barely any filling — just a huge amount of rice.
The fish is poorly cut, uneven, and looks old, not fresh at all.
Honestly, even supermarket sushi looks fresher and better than this.
I have eaten sushi in many countries and cities, and I have never seen anything this bad.
I will attach photos so everyone can see what we received.
This is unacceptable for a restaurant, especially for this price.
We were left hungry and extremely disappointed.
I am requesting a full refund and an apology for ruining our dinner.

Highly recommend the dashi- tofu, we re-ordered the salmon nigri & Kawa-bunga rolls they tasted so good. Also vegetable tempura was a favourite for all our family .
Food was beautifully presented. We sat in the small screened simple dining space , with friendly helpful service . We have traveled in Japan a number of times , the quality of sushi & service of Fubuki Sushi reminded me of the amazing standards of craft & cheerfulness of a local sushi restaurants you find there.

Phenomenal quality on all fronts. Everything very fresh. Great experience. Service was excellent. Price point was pretty average for portion sizes, not too expensive but not cheap either. (Take my price review with a grain of salt though- I eat a lot of sushi). Chef even topped off my experience with a delicious specialty Nigiri on the house. Highly recommend!

Wow…we have been eating at this restaurant for years with exceptional food quality and nice size portions. WHAT HAS HAPPENED??!! I can’t believe we just paid $75 dollars for the smallest sushi rolls we have ever been served (it was embarrassing). Your Eric H. Roll was literally a quarter of its historical size. We were starving after our dinner. Sorry, you’ve lost our business as this is the second time this has happened to us. I’m sure we’re not the only locals who have noticed your “cost saving” measures. I wish you the best of luck if this is your new business model.

Fubuki Sushi is always such a pleasure. So many options that are vegetarian or easily made vegan, and the food is always phenomenal. Definitely a top tier restaurant, can be on the pricey side but totally worth the treat! Great for special occasions
