Gianni Fig’s was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, perfect for a relaxed night out. We started with drinks at the bar and Laura, our bartender/server, was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.
The food was incredible. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly homemade with generous portions. Every dish was spot on. The cocktails were just as impressive.
Great service, amazing food, and a great overall experience. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We have been fans of Gianni Figs for years. One of our top go to restaurants. We took a couple out last night for New Years Eve to share in what we figured would be a great night. The food has changed. We ordered fried mozzarella and the sauce was like a can of tomato paste not a sauce.Our waitress never came back after taking the order. So no more drinks if we wanted them. Then I ordered Chicken Piccatta. I was served Chicken Florentine. However could not get our waitress to return to the table so sat for 20 minutes . Finally another staff member noted and got our waitress. When I questioned the meal. Instead of apologizing the waitress argued with me. We were promised bread with the meals, none was brought. We were very disappointed and will not be returning. Its to bad. The service and food quality have drastically changed. I am sure they will lose many more customers.

I think this place is about average to below average. We went there for dinner after reviewing their website and menu and seeing what other’s had said. I was fairly disappointed with the food quality. The appetizers, fried motz and calamari were not good. The motz in particular was bad. The portions were just two huge rounds, undercooked and cold. The sauce that accompanied the dish had a bad taste.
My wife order the seafood scampi. She could not finish her meal. It was not good. My daughter ordered an Ala carte portion of penne in red sauce. The sauce was overly watery and she would not finish it either. I had a soup, which was decent, and a garden salad that was wilted. The bread was a single roll, cut into three portions. It was bland and a bit stale.
The service was slow and inattentive . It was busy, so I’ll give them that they might have been overwhelmed.
We gave it a shot but certainly won’t come back.

The food was excellent, really excellent! The service was also excellent. The problem is the building, it’s just too small a space. The tables are way too close together and the acoustics are terrible so it’s really loud and you can hear all of your neighbors conversations and they can hear yours. No sense of intimacy. If we go there again it will be for take-out.

Our meals were excellent, my wife said the Lasagne was one of the best she has had, and she has had it numerous places in Italy! My Gorgonzola pasta with chicken was also excellent. Good selection of reasonably priced, good tasting wines as well. Can’t wait to go back!!

I lied and said yes (it was ok). So, about the food – everything was really… wet. Got a chopped salad and there was a ton of liquid at the bottom. I think this means that they probably chopped it in advance and it’s just in a giant bowl in its own liquids in the fridge.
Ordered veal piccata with pasta marinara, both came out looking like soup. Just very weird, soggy, and it looked sloppy. Did I take leftovers to go so I could drain the liquids off my meal – yes, because I’m not that big of a soup fan.

Overall fun time. Good food. Not blow your top food, but great portions and flavorful. Pasta and some arancini balls here. Both presented well. Servers were great. Super friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was also both lovely and cozy. If you’re in the area it’s worth a meal. Seemed like a lot of locals as well, which I appreciate.

I was really impressed with Gianni Fig’s restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff friendly and helpful. But the strong point of the place is undoubtedly the cuisine.
In this place you have the opportunity to taste typical Italian dishes. I tried lasagna and caprese and it was an explosion of flavours!
