I give it two because they were courteous and understanding when I took it back. The sushi is horrible. No flavor WHATSOEVER. Over riced! My New Orleans roll was NOT a Nola inspired roll( yuck). The veggie roll could have tasted better but it tasted over battered. Again, service was fine but OWNERS! Put out a better product. That was going to be a $12 lunch if I didn’t return it. Horrible.

Something we ordered gave me food poisoning. The Hibachi “noodles” are just angel hair pasta. Sushi rolls are huge is the only good thing but will make you sick. We spent $75 on a appetizer, two entrees and two rolls. The food was some of the worst we have had. There are cheaper options with much better quality, and won’t make you puke your guts out at 3am…

This place is my favorite! I come here several times a week on my lunch break. The owner, Sonny, and his employees are all so kind. The portions are generous and the service is speedy, and the food is absolutely delicious. If you are a fan of crab rangoons, you have to try the crab crunchy roll. It is to die for.

So I read the reviews and decided I would give it try b/c I didn’t see any bad reviews. Well I hope this review helps someone save their money. The sushi was DISGUSTING. I paid $14 and it should have been a sample that they gave out in the restaurant. The spring roll was crispy but when u bite it, it was all mush! Normally you can add the ginger to make it taste better, but no! Save your money this place is horrible.

Pulled up on a Friday evening with my frisbee boys and it was pretty quiet- more people seemed to be doing take out rather than eating in.
You order at the counter, and there aren’t servers. However, the service was great! The owner was a personable guy and gave us free drinks. He also brought the food out to us outside.
Food itself was okay- got the hibachi chicken and shrimp. Presentation definitely wasn’t wonderful, but neither was the food. I was surprised that they didn’t have any greens on the platter and the carrots were way too sweet.
Pricing was on the more expensive side.

Me and my girlfriend have been going to sushi star for years and we are never disappointed with the food. The sushi rolls are huge compared to other restaurants and you definitely get your moneys worth no matter what you order. 100% recommend having this be your new go to sushi

This has been my favorite spot since 2011. When I was attending school, I would always go here for lunch or dinner. After I was done with school, till this day whenever i have an appointment in the area you can best believe I grab takeout every time. The owners are soooooo kind, and care about their customers. I highly recommend.
