tasty pizza but a little expensive- i ordered a slice and beer & paid almost $20… on the plus side the service is good. they heat up the pizza for you & the slices were as big as my face. overall not a bad choice if you want some decent pizza. they have daily specials so definitely make use of those

Classic Santa Cruz vibes and great pizza by the slice!
Stopped by Pleasure Pizza and grabbed a slice , it was fresh, cheesy, and full of flavor. The crust had that perfect crisp edge with a soft center, and the toppings tasted super fresh. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere had that laid-back, beach-town charm that makes you want to hang around. Perfect spot for a quick, satisfying bite after a stroll near the beach. Definitely coming back for another slice!

My new go to when I’m craving good pizza! I was recommended here by my sister & it was date night so I was excited to try Pleasure Pizza. My husband & I got two different slices & they were so delicious! We even got to meet the owners Sol , super friendly dude & his lovely wife Erica. The entire staff was so friendly & welcoming , this place really gives off a down to earth vibe ! It’s conveniently located near shops where you can walk around which makes a romantic night. We really enjoyed the food here & will try different items next time !

25% crust because toppings end before the toppings end before the crust. very stingy with the toppings for the size and price of the slices. It’s a plus that the pizza is cooked crispy and has good flavor though. But add more cheese & sauce and its definitely worth going back.

This place was average, the food was decent. The prices are bit high for what you get….. the size is very large and comparable to Costco, but it’s $6 for one slice of pepperoni pizza. The service was good. The ambiance of the place is great, however the table we sat on was dirty and I put my hands onto a bunch of crumbs on the table.

Pleasure Point Pizza: The Holy Grail of Pepperoni Slices
I don’t know what kind of wizardry is happening at Pleasure Point Pizza, but I just had the best slice of pepperoni pizza I’ve had in a long time—possibly ever. We’re talking crispy-yet-chewy crust, the perfect amount of grease (enough to be delicious but not make you question your life choices), and pepperoni that had just the right amount of curl. I took one bite and immediately considered quitting my job to become their full-time taste tester.
And the price? Less than $10, even with a 20% tip. In this economy?? I felt like I was robbing them. I almost threw more money at the cashier out of guilt.
Speaking of the staff, the girls working there deserve a raise, a trophy, and possibly a national holiday in their honor. The customer service was chef’s kiss—friendly, fast, and so genuinely nice that I started questioning if I was in some sort of wholesome alternate universe.
Oh, and let’s talk about the water. FREE. ICE COLD. HIGH-QUALITY. I don’t know where they source it—Fiji? A magical glacier? The Fountain of Youth?—but it was so good that I was out here taking actual sips of water between bites like a refined individual.

Pleasure Pizza truly lives up to its name, and I must say after having pizza in Santa Cruz from a number of different places this is really the place to get good authentic New York style-ish pizza. How do you know when you found a good pizza place? When you go two days in a row and willing to drive an hour one way just to take your wife back to experience what you had yesterday. I am nothing short of a maze by everything they offer not just in food, but also with their service and love for their customers.
The pizza:
Good Lord! That is one giant slice of pizza seriously. Some might think that it’s just a big slice of pizza as a novelty but they could not be more incorrect. You first and foremost are getting a slice of pizza that has by far the greatest crest which is dense and chewy and pure bliss and each and every bite. Pleasure pizza does not skip on toppings and they definitely use high quality ingredients which just makes this pizza joint special. I also like the fact that for a restaurant that’s on the main drag in Santa Cruz that their prices are more than affordable and for the price you will be completely and totally satisfied not just with the meal but also with your wallet.
Service:
How much more can I say beyond they have a great staff of individuals whom are truly treated right because they are attitudes and kindness to their customers is second to none. Don’t think just because you got a great slice of pizza for a lower price that you’re going to get lower customer service because that’s not true. Pleasure pizza has a good formula going on that you have good food and happy people just only makes everything better.
I got lucky on my first trip to pleasure Pizza, they were experimenting with a new pizza I think they call it the chess board or something like that, it’s a barbecue base pizza with Italian sausage where you can actually see pieces of fennel within the sausage along with mounds of cheese and I think and don’t quote me on this some onions. This pizza was nothing short of amazing and made me instantly go to the counter and ask management about it because it wasn’t on the menu at the present time. Please keep it on the menu lol
