In the comments I saw alot of bad reviews. But I honestly had no bad experience at this Papa John’s it’s one of the best locations I ever ate at. I had pizza from alot of other Papa John’s here is the best I live in Clifton now but I lived in Hillside NJ before. My family and I would drive from Hillside NJ to This Papa John’s to buy pizza and this location is always busy the cheese sticks and pizza the best this location beats alot of pizzeria in North Jersey but I only gave 4 stars because I know they can do better and can work on certain things in different aspects of the business and they can reach a 5 star for me

The manager at this location was rude and dismissive. I accidentally placed a carryout order when I meant to order delivery. After waiting over an hour, I realized the mistake and immediately called the store. I explained the mix-up, told him I would come pick it up, and simply asked if the pizza could be made fresh.
Instead of being understanding, he brushed me off, kept insisting the pizza “wasn’t cold,” and made it seem like I was trying to get something for free — which wasn’t the case at all. I fully owned the mistake and just wanted food that matched the quality I paid for.
I live nearby and order from this location often, but this experience turned me off completely. Customer service and quality matter, and this manager seriously needs to work on both.

Forgot what music was playing but it was pizza themed or at least they should only play pizza themed music, but that’s for whoever decides.
Food was great, I’ve ordered two 14 inch pies with the meats and whatnot, stacked it with the garlic parmesan cheese, and we were locked in.

This Papa John’s Pizza location serves primarily Clifton, Passaic, and other neighboring towns and communities. Being one of the “big 3” national pizza chains, YMMV depending on service and quality, but you’ll be satisfied stopping by on some occasions, and disappointed in other times. The location is within the Lakeview Shopping Center (strip mall), and there’s a parking lot in front of the pizza shop.
Menu offers just about the usual fare you’ll notice in other Papa John’s locations: various pizzas (either create your own or certain recipes), side dishes such as chicken wings/boneless, desserts such as breadsticks/chocolate, and at somewhat affordable prices. Most customers are well aware of the online coupons available to bring costs down, almost to the same level as their competitors if you’ve wanted to do some bargain hunting. On average, pizzas here wouldn’t take more than 10 minutes to finish, and delivery times may vary depending on your distance.
In terms of my own service here, I wasn’t expecting anything high caliber aside from good enough pizzas for affordable prices. Sometimes orders may be messed up (rarely happens), but it’s one of the few places (Papa John’s as a collective, not limited to this location) that I know can prepare cheeseless/vegan friendly pizzas, albeit to little discount. It does feel strange not eating it too often, as I’ve done, but to some, the bread may be bland, and the sauce strong. Whenever possible, I would take advantage of my Papa Rewards (Papa John’s reward program for frequent buyers) and score on free pizzas or side dishes. I wouldn’t praise this as a “good” place, but if you’ve wanted food for cheap and affordable pricing and open late at night.
To end this, it’s just your normal, typical Papa John’s nothing too special. For those who want better pizza, try your local independent shops! But those acquainted to the taste/musings of a Papa John’s would feel right at home.

I have been ordering from this store for many years & even when orders arrive with wrong items I never call to tell them & the reason for this is because the one time I did call, they wouldn’t do anything to help me & they were very rude to me. Well again tonight when I ordered thru the app for some reason when I sent the order it was submitted incorrectly. The app changed the order to 2 of the same type pizza & left the other pizza I wanted off the order. I then ordered the other pizza separately. The manager called to ask if I placed 2 orders, I tried to explain to him what had happened with the order, he didn’t want to hear & hung up on me. I called him back & asked him if I could just cancel out the 1 pizza that the app had ordered & I didn’t need or want, he didn’t want to hear anything I had to say & he said he couldn’t help me & hung up again. This is last time I will order from this store, the people in this store are always rude. I spend a lot of money here & they are always rude even when the mistakes made are their faults. Tonight it cost me over $70, I will be throughing out an entire pizza that the app ordered & I had to put in a second order to get what the app omitted & had to pay a second delivery fee. If you can do anything to help me I would appreciate it. I would really like it if you can forward this email to the owner of that store. I talked to him once about 3 years ago & he helped me with the problem.

Worst store ever !! The people that works there are rude i order through uber i wa sin constantly communication with the drivers and they told them the order is on the making supposedly but to the 4th driver they said someone took already and that shes not making it again !!! No wonder they have everything buy one get one free !!

I ordered a Pizza with 5 toppings and only 2 were added. I called the store to get a new pizza or a at least get a new pizza for a better price and the store or manager didn’t do anything for their mistake. They wanted me to pay full price for their mistake. Never buying from this store ever again!

I ordered a simple large pie with light cheese and 3 cheese blend, well done. As usual especially within the last few months has been phenomenal. It has to do with the new staff. The gentleman today was extremely professional and polite. Wish I knew his name to shout him out but overall great experience. Hands down one of not the best PaPaJohns establishment in the area.
