Had the pleasure of visiting this cute little gem of a restaurant. I believe most of it is Dominican based food but there are Cuban and Puerto Rican options too. Don’t forget to get your Con-Con!! Ask for some meat gravy over it tho or some beans, it will change your life. Haha. The food was 7 out of 10. The staff is super friendly. I would totally go back!! I had the big chicken over rice and beans and a side of potato salad. Very good

They have a hot bar with plenty of great options including oxtails and pigs feet. Cozy and inviting atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly. The chicken was fall of the bone tender. Everything was seasoned and cooked well.

I am from Cleveland Ohio. Whenever I come to Georgia the next day this is my place to go eat mofongo with fried pork. I ask for garlic oil for the mofongo they toll me I was informed that they were out of it. I agree the mofongo was dry. The difference is that in Florida I believe they use ripe platanos in it because their’s in kind of sweet and moist but the rest of the order was good. Cannot find it in Ohio. My daughter and her partner they had different food no problems with it.

If you want a taste of Puerto Rico but can’t travel…. This is the best place to go on the Southside. The food is amazing. They have empanadas, the ketchup and mayo sauce, and everything. I’m so glad we found this place. We definitely will be returning

Value here is outstanding. My plate was so heavy and I was stuffed with half a plate left. Everything tasted homemade and I’m mad at myself for passing by here and never seeing this place. This location does them a disservice for the quality and quantity of food. Everything A1. Snapper is quality and delicious. They typically have pork, beef and chicken ready on the line. They have mofongo and other items you can order through certain times. Mainly rice and beans for sides. They have Tostones and sometimes plantains and salad in which I prefer. Cornbread muffin is large and tasty. This meal put me right to sleep. It’s a bit dark inside and they can easily upgrade their wall art and overall cultural aesthetic to make it look more like Puerto Rico

Very nice! I loved the food, atmosphere, and the hospitality. The lady is who served me was very nice and sweet. I had the stewed chicken with rice and beans. The chicken was so tender it fell off the bone, and there was a hint of lime somewhere, it did it for me. I really enjoyed the meal, along with the mango aguas frescas, drink. It was also very clean, with a suitable decor. I would recommend many times over.

I go here when I want authentic Dominican food but , usually good – to great on chicken and fish dishes I normally get. but just writing this to give you a heads up on the Oxtail I tried – 21.99 for 4 thin pieces with black beans over rice . The oxtail was undercooked as in a little toughness that them as thin and small as they were they should have fell off the bone.be for warned their pricing can be off when you ask for single items as well like just rice peas, soup, or beans these can cost as much as entrees depending on who is working the counter

So disappointed. Food was flavorless definitely not a good day for them. And very pricey. Dish was mostly rice. Stew chicken leg had no meat on it and there were no vegetables just 2 pieces of baked chicken in gravy. Chicharron was also flavorless and mostly fat and not fried crispy at all.

So far, so good. Ladies up front were super nice. They let me taste the oxtail before buying. The food was amazing. Hot and ready! First time trying Latin oxtail. They didn’t disappoint .

Went here to try something different but it didn’t hit the spot for me. I had the Tripleta sandwich, and honestly I didn’t like it. Way too greasy, even the bread had an awful lot of butter. The Alcapurrias where good, but once again way too greasy. My wife had the mofongo, wich was good but on the dry side. So sadly, I didn’t enjoyed anything from the a la carte menu. However, I’ll give them a second chance since the food that they have on hand looked pretty good.
