Jaxson’s Ice Cream Parlour is an iconic South Florida spot and a true must-visit. Family-owned for over 70 years, it feels like stepping into a classic American ice cream parlor.

The ice cream is clearly homemade—rich, creamy, and worth the visit on its own. The cookies-n-cream was packed with easily 50% cookie, which is nothing like the versions you usually find. Every dish arrives with a small American flag, adding to the nostalgic charm. They even serve popcorn alongside the ice cream (though ours was a bit stale).

They also offer a full food menu if you’re looking for more than dessert. Overall, it’s a fun, nostalgic place that has been part of the community for generations.

Thoroughly, enjoyed my visit! Although, I live ten minutes away I hardly come here because it always seems crazy busy. But I decided to stop in on a lazy Tuesday afternoon and got right in! I asked to be seated outside since it was such nice day out. My server was attentive, super polite and professional. I LOVE the complimentary popcorn when you’re seated. Looking forward to many more visits.

Jaxson’s Ice Cream Parlor and Restaurant in Hollywood is such a FUN place (especially if you come with kids for a birthday!)
I went with my family for my niece’s birthday and we had the best time. We came just for ice cream and the options were endless….They have everything from fat free yogurt, sugar free ice cream and toppings, vegan ice cream, and non dairy sorbets to the classic flavors, so choosing was almost impossible! Lol!
The atmosphere feels like a carnival with unique decorations everywhere. The hostess and servers were extremely sweet and attentive and they even bring out fresh popcorn when you sit down which I loved.
This place is iconic in South Florida and the ice cream quality is amazing. I ordered the hot fudge banana split and it was SO big I had to share, and the kids enjoyed their sundaes made exactly how they wanted.
We will definitely keep coming back!

Stumbled upon this ice cream shop while looking for ice cream. The interiors were so cool. a lot of candies, a vintage feel with a bike, upside down pots, license plates!!!! The ice creams were yummilious! The chicken burger was worth the wait! The wait was way too much. The service was sad as first the server didn’t take our order correct and then we asked to change the other server got mad. It’s a MUST.

The atmosphere and decor was adorable and nostalgic. The food was incredible and had huge portions. Extensive selection of homemade ice cream flavors. Our server Alexandra was a sweetheart and provided top notch service. I will be forever dreaming of traveling back to Florida to come back to Jaxson’s!

This is such a fun spot with great carnival-style vibes. They serve fresh popcorn at the table, which was a cool surprise and smelled amazing. The menu’s a bit pricey but seemed to include huge portions. Our fries and quesadilla were pretty tasty. We were told that everything’s made in-house, including the ice cream. I didn’t particularly enjoy the bowl of ice cream as a whole we got, but the pecan ice cream was really good. I just thought the shortcake in it was hard, the syrup was sour, and the strawberries were the ones that are preserved in a jar of syrup. However, I’m sure other orders might be better. The server was also friendly and attentive, but the atmosphere alone makes it worth a visit if you’re in the area.

An absolute must visit especially if you’re visiting with kids! From the food and service to the ambiance (and of course the ICE CREAM) everything exceeded our expectations.

The food is just plain yummy, making it a great spot not only for dessert but for a full meal as well. Then comes the ice cream… wow. The presentation alone is incredible… over-the-top, fun, and absolutely unforgettable before you even take the first bite.

This iconic spot has been around since the 1950s, and the vintage décor is part of the magic. The space is filled with incredible memorabilia like Tiffany lamps, old-school license plates, vintage advertisement posters, and real household trinkets from decades past. It felt like stepping into a time capsule.

What made it even more special was how engaged my kids were… they couldn’t stop asking questions about all the items that predated them by nearly 70 years! Fun, nostalgic, and delicious all in one place.

This place has been around for as long as anyone can remember. The ice cream is super creamy and full of flavor. Lines move quick so don’t be deterred if you see a crowd. Not only do you get amazing ice cream, but there’s also the candy shop, which is basically a time machine. The shelves are filled with old school candies you haven’t seen since you were a kid along with little novelty treats and toys. The kinds of things you don’t really need but absolutely end up buying anyway. It’s impossible not to wander around in there for a while. If you came hungry, the restaurant part has you covered. The food is simple, comforting, and exactly what you want from a place like this with good portions, reasonable prices, and just really solid meals that hit the spot.

We were seated right away and ordered a cookie trio Banana Split; Cookie Monster ice cream, cookie dough and Oreo. This was delicious, thankfully I remembered to take a pic before we dug in. The atmosphere was nice, a bit loud as the place was full but it makes sense with the desserts being this good. Our waitress was pleasant. I had been wanting to visit for years and I’m glad I was able to finally do so. Can’t wait to go back.
