Starbucks very disappointed with this branch.
Will not come back. You guys should provide services with respect to the customers turn .
My girlfriend came in and ordered on the mobile app and even tipped (later taken back) and waited about 30 minutes for her drink until she heard the two girls working the front talking about how making her drink is torture. They were taking pictures of her order and laughing and making fun of it. she heard one of the workers say “hey fattie”? she doesn’t know if that was directed towards my order or what. we think this is unacceptable , one of the girls directly said “why are you taking pictures of my torture.” we will never return to this location and can’t believe they would say all this out loud knowing we might be there. there was one older woman working there who wasn’t apart of the banter while the two girls saying the things were around 20 years old. Absolutely unacceptable. My girlfriend felt extremely embarrassed and didnt even want to grab the drink because she didn’t want to be judged by them.
20220413 The store is different than I remember. I think they remodeled it? They have the Starbucks Been There Series, VA and DC, if you are looking for them. Please don’t forget to tip. Instead of paying it forward, tip the baristas instead.
The baristas here are friendly, helpful and pretty fast! I ordered my usual… iced venti chai latte with soy, and it is delicious. Creamy! This store is layout slightly different than the others I visited. I needed help to find the napkins which were on the left under the pick up counter when the doors are hide you. I like the creative welcome sign, and it has a nice fenced him patio which is unusual because of all the Starbucks I gave visited, I don’t remember seeing a patio.
Today I went into the store and a lady came from the back, shouting at me that the store was closed. Not only that, but she literally shooed me with her hands as if I was some unwanted animal. This is an absolute DISGRACE and not a way to treat people. Please replay the cameras for August 3rd, around 8:10pm.
There were no signs and the door was open.
No problem if someone forgets to close the door, but I don’t appreciate a wild hog chasing at me and shooing me as if I’m a farm animal.
I had to ask this lady if she was using ASL because I genuinely couldn’t believe that a human was shooing another human being, I was hoping it was an interpretation for something else but it was not!
I have never been spoken to like that in my life. It was absolutely disgusting.
She is of big build, short and her teeth were messy, she wore a black shirt. I’m not sure if that’s a good enough description but I am BEGGING the organizers of this establishment to RETRAIN that animal or consider replacing her with someone who knows how to treat human beings.
Do better Starbucks!
I had a mobile order to pick up but wanted to tip in cash so I asked him to break a $20.00 bill. He said he couldn’t do that which means there was no tip for the barista who did all the work. Sorry but you have a part in this.
The baristas who were hustling and cranking out drinks were pleasant and efficient, they made the visit worthwhile today.
To my surprise, she told me that Starbucks now has a new policy: if you don’t purchase anything, they no longer provide water. I was genuinely shocked to hear this. I’ve been to several Starbucks locations recently, and none of them refused to give me water—even when I didn’t order anything. I couldn’t help but wonder: When did this new policy start? Why isn’t it applied at other stores? And if it is a new policy, why is it being enforced so inconsistently?
If Starbucks has truly implemented this rule, I respect that. However, if this was a personal decision made by the staff member, then I believe it’s unfair. It left me feeling confused and a bit disappointed, especially since I’ve always had positive experiences at this location in the past.
