The Gumbo soup was DELICIOUS!!! The BBQ ribs were good. The brisket a little dry and the pork good. But did I tell you the Gumbo was fantastic?! I ordered a second serving to take out.
Went back for more deli cious Gumbo today. Ordered a BBQ sandwich and the kitchen didn’t give me anytime to eat my Gumbo. Fries were cold by the time I was ready for them. Hate when there is no course timing coordination at some restaurants. BBQ meats were tasty.
Returned for more Gumbo- Incredibly DELICIOUS! So good I ordered 2 more containers to Go to enjoy later. I had a Boathouse Burger – it had pulled pork on it and cole slaw- good!

Back again for GUMBO with Andoie (sp) sausage- FANTASTIC! Great time – sat at the bar, talked to other customers, the Bartender was a fantastic example of pure hospitality industry excellence! Perfect service, friendly, communicative. She deserves a raise! Pulled Pork with cheese sandwich the best. Baked beans were bland. Can’t wait to return!
12/14/24. Had the Seafood Mix Gumbo- a large bowl. It was fantastic! Burger was cooked perfectly and the bartender and runner provided EXCELLENT service. This place is great.

The food was delicious and the drinks are amazing. Definitely not the heavy on the stomach but definitely filling. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. I had a great time and can’t wait to go back for more!

It started off well. The wings were great and then it fell off a cliff. The BBQ platter I ordered was dry. The brisket was not tender. It was overcooked. The smoked turkey had a Sandy texture, as it was that dry. The ribs were so so, but also very dry. Would not recommend this place. The food is under cooked for a “BBQ” spot… no flavor and waaayyyy over priced for this low quality…$30 bucks because I blindly tipped $2.10 ♂️ for 22.95 before tax this was awful.. im headed to Wendy’s.. and BTW that’s horrible ribs and barley acceptable brisket. What’s supposed to be spinosh rice and greasy vegetables in the picture.

Good old Smokey Joe’s. Where the food sucks and your stomach will roar with discontent.
To be frank I paid 40 for dry unsmokey brisket with no flavor. Canned beans which I should have just replaced with actually decent canned beans in my kitchen with brown sugar and bacon not the mushy mess that was provided.
Following that ungodly pairing we have a lemon pepper chicken which was half decent just rubbery.
The only thing that was good was the can of ginger ale I ordered and cornbread (how can anyone mess up cornbread) .
Was on the toilet for quite some time talking to my self contemplating life lately into the night.
