First time here, we were in town for an event, thought we’d try the ChopHouse. I had a 10 oz filet with black truffle butter, my wife had the Meso salmon. We shared the brussel sprouts, and both of us had a chophouse salad. My filet was tender and cooked properly, I really liked the truffle butter, but for $69 plus the price of the truffle butter add on, I was hoping to have been wowed more. The brussel sprouts tasted very good but they were roasted a little crispier than we cared for. My wife’s salmon was very tasty but she said she thought maybe a bit salty for her preference. We both really liked the ChopHouse salads, as well as the dinner rolls that were brought to the table along with blue cheese, oil, and butter trio.
We were kinda pushed for time so we didn’t get dessert, but we got in and out in a little over an hour I think. Overall a nice experience.

This place is amazing!
Service was prompt and very polite! Shoutout to Jessica!
Food was amazing and so filling! Definitely recommend getting the side of Lobster Mac.
Drinks were good. Had the Cable Car and wasn’t to strong.
One small note, as someone who loves bread….they bring them out one by one. But that’s just a personal thing.

We stay at the Hilton for volleyball every year. One of the highlights after a long day is heading down to the Chophouse. Steaks, Lobster Mac, Trio of Sides, Chop Salad and Carrot Carrot were on point this trip. Consistent, impeccable service and food. Thank you!

Milwaukee Chophouse is an elegant steakhouse on the first floor of the Hilton in the heart of downtown. They offer a wide selection of wine, nice cuts of steak, and fresh seafood. The evening I attended, a lot was ordered because it was a business dinner, and the table shared various dishes. To kick off the night, we ordered a handful of appetizers. I personally only tried the fried calamari, which was delicious and tender. It sits on a spread of a lemon butter sauce with a sprinkle of cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives, and capers.
Since steakhouses usually offer a type of bisque, I decided to try their seafood bisque. It has a creamy tomato base with some jumbo lump crab meat and is topped with a crostini. The flavor of the bisque was a tad bland. I finished the dish, but I would pass next time. They did have a poblano and corn chowder, which a few at the table enjoyed, and I would order it next time if it is offered.
Now to the star of the meal—the meat. I decided on a medium New York Strip Steak. I added brandy peppercorn sauce as an accompaniment, which was also tasty. Since a steak needs a buddy, I had to add a Broiled South African lobster tail. You can’t go wrong with a nice piece of lobster drowned in butter. For sides, we also ordered an array of items. From veggies to carbs, we had it all. I enjoyed the lobster mac and cheese with large chunks of lobster throughout. It was out together with white cheddar, buttered breadcrumbs and parmesan. I also tasted the mashed potatoes, a mash of garlic purée, cream, and butter. Want a fabulous bite? Put together the steak, the brandy peppercorn sauce, and a swipe of the potatoes. Yum.
To end the night, we were treated to a selection of desserts. I don’t have a sweet tooth, but I will lean toward sorbet if they have it. They had a pairing of strawberry and blood orange. I tasted the strawberry and enjoyed it.
Overall, the night went well, and we all enjoyed our meals and our fabulous waitress.

The team at Milwaukee Chophouse is fantastic. I hosted a large business dinner and worked with Jaeda on the events team. She was easy to work with and very responsive. I, however, messed up big time and had contracted the WRONG date so we showed up a day EARLY and the team at the restaurant jumped into action, without hesitation, and were still able to accommodate us. I am so fortunate that we booked the Chophouse because at any other place, this would have been a much larger issue that they made it seem. Thank you to everyone there who accommodated us including the kitchen as well as the waitstaff who gave us some of the best service I’ve had in a long time!
You saved me and the business dinner was a huge success thanks to your team- thank you so much!!

Went here for Fur Squared. The staff was enthusiastic and personable and the food amazing. The prices are a little higher than your typical sit-down but the quality and experience were easily worth double what we paid. Complements especially to Crystal and to the chefs.

Server and management were friendly and resolutions focused with menu familiarity providing an upscale dining experience. Unfortunately for them the chef couldn’t cook a medium rare steak with 2 attempts, first was medium+ to medium well the second was still refrigerated rare. Mind you this was in a slower Friday night early in the evening but still. A medium rare filet is a measure of a steakhouse in my opinion, hopefully it was a one time fluke as the issue should be easily resolved. The sides were cooked to perfection.

So I’m honest, I spend the time and money for a nice meal. Steak was 99% RAW, the server was overloaded and had help. Her demeanor was obvious and had a twist of working alone….
Wedge salad, rusty & limp5.
Steak had good flavor (after being cooked again)6, potatoes were awesome8,dessert was dry thawed cake and cheap moose tracks ice cream 2. Service was slow and I was embarrassed to ask for anything.
Another table was unsatisfied, so a visit from the “chef” was in order to make us all feel obligated to leave a tip. Maybe a one time thing, maybe not! BTW 225$ for 2 people no booze.
