We were driving past and decided to try this for lunch. The bartender/waitress was friendly. She was attentive, but I did not hover. We ordered a pizza with grilled shrimp and pesto, as well as other good things on it. Along with a nice microbrew stout. The pizza was fantastic. The crust was maybe a little soft in the middle of the pie. But considering that type of pizza, it’s understandable. We would definitely go there again.

This bar/pizzeria, hence “Barzzeria,” has great pizza, quality beers on tap, and wonderful small town atmosphere. Curling Pepperoni, Calabrian Peppers, and artichokes are just a small sampling of pizza toppings that makes this place unique. If you’re thinking of dining here and you love calamari, then don’t pass it up. Their homemade sauce for the calamari hits with a wall of flavor followed with a surprisingly spicy finish.

Extremely impressed. I was in town briefly for a meeting. I have been to Italy for at least a half dozen trips, and this place competes with authentic Italian cuisine. The burrata was fabulous! The pizza was wonderful! The garlic cheese bread was the best I’ve had! Sadly, I only got one photo.

I don’t remember who told me about this place but I am thinking them times 100. My mom lives in Rio Vista and we frequent this establishment as much as possible. It’s the cutest place in the middle of Isleton. You would never know it’s there unless someone told you have the best food! Small business at its finest family owned they make their own bread. Oh my goodness I wish I could eat their garlic bread every day. That’s how great it is today we went there for breakfast, and it did not disappoint.

So far I’ve only been once. The place looks beautiful! Very nice bar set up and the calamari was delicious. The pizza has a unique sourdough crust. Wasn’t bad at all. Maybe a tad more basil. I’ll be back and grab some more picts.

Update: Restaurant replied, trying to frame the fee as a “built in discount” for those paying with cash. You can’t call it a discount if you don’t even discount the price from the standard menu price. And it’s definitely not a discount if you’re actually adding a charge on top of the menu price to those that don’t pay with cash. They also replied acting like they can’t choose the tip % suggestions. That’s easily editable, I guarantee they know how to edit it to their preferences. That’s like if someone complains that it’s cold, and the restaurant justifying it by saying their thermostat came preset with at 65 degrees. These manipulative responses are extremely disappointing.

Looked at the receipt the next day and noticed that they tacked on an extra 4% charge to your bill if you use a card. It’s part of your operating expenses, just factor it into your menu prices like all your other expenses, like other restaurants do! It’s a deceptive way to make the menu prices look lower than they are.

Also, the bill has the calculations for tips, which normally includes a 15%, 18% or 20% option. But this restaurant excluded the 15% option, and instead included a 25% option. Really? It basically pressures/guilts customers to tip more than the industry standard rates.

I was out playing tourist with my mom and my dog today checking out some of the towns along the Sacramento River and decided to give this place a shot for lunch. Unfortunately pets aren’t allowed on the patio which sucks because it was a nice looking place but we still ordered a pizza to go and just ate nextdoor at the coffee shop. We had the Tuscan pizza and calamari with jalapenos which I didn’t get a photo of, both were great and very flavorful. I do wish the bottom of the pizza was a little crispier but that just gives me an excuse to come back and ask for that and experience the rest of the restaurant. Looking forward to my next trip back.

We arrived about 8:20 or so and seated on the patio. It was a beautiful night and the patio area is lovely with the lights.. They also had a good variety of music playing in the background.
We ordered the garlic cheese bread to start. The kitchen was closing soon so we were asked, politely to have our order ready when he returned with our drinks. I had the Manny’s beer on tap. It was pretty good.
When our bread arrived we were surprised at how big it was! We were expecting a few slices not half a loaf! The bread was very good.
I believe we ordered the Delta King and Meat Amante pizza.
Both were delicious.
This is our 2nd time here. The 1st time was before Covid. We were happy to be back and happy to see they made it through it. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
I also recommend the Mei Wah Beer Room in Isleton for tasting beer then head over to Manny’s Barzzeria for lunch or dinner.

Love stopping at Manny’s when passing through Isleton for a bite to eat and a beer! The side patio has ample shade and a burbling fountain that adds to the cozy-casual ambiance and there are a dozen or so local drafts available.

They’ve got a solid selection of Italian dishes and seafood, but this most recent drop-in called for a calzone. The house-made meatballs were well-seasoned and savory and the crust was easily the best I’ve encountered in years — it had a great texture and flavor of its own and was not too hard or dense, neither dried out nor doughy, not overcooked, not soggy and was easy both to bite and to cut with the knife and fork supplied.

Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. She asked about any food restrictions or preferences when we asked her for recommendations and kindly brought us some little beer samples when we were trying to narrow down choices in ordering.

Thanks, Manny’s! We’ll see you again on the next pass through!
