I used the app to order ahead of time. I am only two minutes away. By the I got my shoes on and left, my order was ready when I got there.
I ate in. Very clean. Very nice. Free wifi is available. I’ve never needed it before, but I am visiting from out of town and needed to download a coupla shows since I do not have wifi where I am staying.
The food was spot on, exactly what and how I ordered. Twas very good.
They do have outside tables. I love a good outdoor table, indeed. The store is RIGHT on Johnston St, so a bit noisy outside. I had a nice visit enjoying the cool air inside.

I recently visited Panera Bread and had a great experience! I absolutely loved the Chicken Avocado Melt. The combination of tender chicken, creamy avocado, and melted cheese was perfect. I also tried The Feisty One, and it was amazing! The flavors were bold, and it had just the right amount of spice.
For soups, I had the Onion Soup, which wasn’t the best I’ve had, but it was still decent for the price. The Chicken & Wild Rice Soup was comforting and flavorful.
Beyond the food, I really enjoyed the overall vibe of the place. The atmosphere was cozy, the service was great, and the pricing felt reasonable for the quality. Definitely a spot I’d visit again!

Loved the Customer service, the lady at the front check out, was so awesome. We went in around 12pm. Fast service, good food, fresh taste and the soup was hot and yummy. Clean restaurant and a clam relaxing/chilled atmosphere. Definitely will be going back

Our first time dinning here. But the lady that waited on us was so wonderful. She gave us her tour which was on the kiosk she went step by step explaining everything. And she said she lets you know if the there is a special. She was awsome. Her name was Jennifer. So friendly knew her stuff.

We have ordered food from Panera in Lafayette several times over the past couple of months. Our orders keep getting cancelled on the app. We make the drive out there and they tell us they are either out of food or they are cleaning up for the night, an hour before closing. Tonight we ordered from the app for pick up, it was cancelled, we made the drive out there to order in person anyways, and they said they are not taking orders because they had too many orders because of the weather, it wasn’t even 7:30pm yet. Almost 2 hours before closing and they refused to make food for us. The staff is lazy. When we ordered and actually received food the last 2 times, the salad containers are less full, and our sandwiches were sloppy with hardly any ingredients in them, basically 2 pieces of bread with sauce and lettuce, maybe 2 small pieces of chicken. For the money I spend there, I would expect better service and quality in the food.I don’t know how the manager is allowing this kind of service or the food quality to be so poor for their customers, but they need a serious change. Do better Panera.

If you want to sit down for a nice meal DON’T come here. I came here for dinner and the staff was so loud yelling and cursing that I left. I have never experienced that before. It was a shame because the food was pretty good, the yelling staff on the other hand was unacceptable. If it was just yelling, it would maybe be ok…..the yelling of curse words constantly was to much. Don’t bring your kids here

i neverrrrrr leave bad reviews but oh my GOD. every single time i go here i wait in the drive thru 20+ minutes. today i was literally the only car there when i pulled up and they STILL took over 15 minutes for a sandwich! i could understand during a busy lunch rush that things would take a little longer, but to be the only car there and still taking that long??? that’s crazy i’m sorry. the food was amazing and the guy working the window was very sweet but i don’t know if i can keep justifying spending so much money on a place that takes SO long every time i go!
