Brian and I stopped by PHOever Maine for dinner on Wednesday, arriving a bit late around 8:10 PM, just an hour before their 9 PM closing.
Despite our late arrival, the two waitresses were incredibly friendly and welcoming – we never felt rushed, even as we stayed until closing.
I ordered the Shaken Steak Tips (Bò Lúc Lắc), and the beef was perfectly soft and delicious. Brian opted for the Chicken Pho and absolutely raved about the broth. To top it off, my Lychee Martini was fantastic; I loved both my dish and drink.
Next time I’m in Portland, PHOever Maine will definitely be on my list. Highly recommend their beef!

Saw the nice reviews and was excited to visit. I’ve ordered the wonton soup and the house stir fry with the flat noodles and beef. I was alone in the restaurant at that point. I was surprised to get both dishes together, although I’ve heard the kitchen bell a few minutes earlier, but the waitress was busy on her phone and didn’t bother getting up, so I ended up getting them at the same time. At the end I’ve asked why they both were served at the same time, and she replied that it’s the chef decision and she has no say about it. Anyway, the broth was fairly tasty though oddly the wontons meat managed to be dry and chewy. The stir fry was salty, the noodles way too soggy and beef was chewy and felt of low quality… high expectations > high disappointment. Needless to say it wasn’t worthy the 15 minutes drive…

We had a fantastic dinner!! We had beef pho and crab rangoon. Both were delicious. The crab stuffing was the perfect consistency and creamy, making this THE BEST rangoon we’ve ever had. The pho broth was really rich and the sprouts, basil, brisket, and lime made for a super well balanced flavor.
Service was amazing. The waitresses were quick with refills and checked in to make sure everything tasted OK.
We didn’t have any drinks but they had a full bar!
A++ definitely give it a try!

The Shaken Steak Tips/Bo Luc Lac dish and the combo for 2 appetizer was amazing. I’m not a fan of tofu since it has no flavor, but this one was so crunchy, I liked it. The steak dish I got…very tasty. The wonton soup—was ok. Nothing outstanding about it. However, The other two dishes, very tasty. Would definitely come back again. However, not sure I would even get the pho’s, but would be more than happy to try their rice/noodle dishes. The meats—wow! So yummy!

Quality Pho close to Rock Rowe. Usually get the beef or chicken pho but was craving for veggies once in my life so took a chance and ordered veggie and tofu Pho in beef broth. Best decision of the day! Bowl was full of nourishing veggies and broth was perfect. I devoured it in minutes and had some left for seconds later.

They don’t have the poison sauce sorachi out where u can just put in your pho I had to keep asking her to bring me chicken pho is good and the egg rolls pho would have been better if I could have put enough sauce in it .
