Food and service were good. Cleanliness pretty good, although the front door was filthy.
I paid with a credit card. The tip options defaulted to 15%, 18%, 20%, and other. I pressed other. Before I could leave the screen and finish the transaction I was forced to enter a non-zero tip. This really annoyed me. I usually tip modestly in counter order situations like this, but being forced to tip ? Not cool.

Today my co-worker placed an order which was taking an extremely long time. She checked the status which said it was out for delivery- for over an hour (even though we are located a quarter mile from the store.) Called to complain and management just said they only have 2 drivers. When we asked what they would do to make it right, management said “nothing”. Management and service here is an absolute joke and they struggle nearly every time with remembering items and condiments.

Put in a large catering order when I got there the guy went back and got my food. (Nice it was ready)
Then I asked to ask him where my drinks as I noticed they were missing and he just looked at me eventually he said I could take the 20 ounce bottles. I get to my event and when I get there, I noticed that everything other than the Subs were not included with my order. That’s deserts and chips.
I can’t believe I tipped for this terrible service.

Just came into the store and ordered 3 sandwiches, sodas, and chips. When the sandwiches were done the woman set them on the counter then proceeded to ask me if I wanted a bag. I said yes and then she set the bag on the counter and walked away. So is this what fast food is resorting to you have to bag your own stuff as well? I thought in my mind when she first asked me if I wanted a bag like how am I going to carry three sandwiches three bags of chips and three sodas with two hands.

I pulled into JJ’s drive thru in Portage, WI at 1:18 pm yesterday, placed my order, and proceeded to wait in the line after that for ALMOST AN HOUR. Physically could not get out of line. I get up to the window and they take my payment and say “we’ll have it right out for you” and I wait another 15 minutes for my food. Meanwhile I’m watching inside and there are 2 people standing around doing nothing. I finally get my food and I did not receive an apology for the wait or an offer to comp my food, nothing. I pulled out at 2:20 PM Absolutely unbelievably terrible customer service at this location. If i could give it 0 stars i would.

Asked for no onions,recieved onions, tomatoes are between the size of cherry tomatoes and a small regular tomato. Think little larger than a quarter. Then watched bearded dude with packers hat on fiddle with the registers teaching someone something then adjust an entire tray of bread without gloves on then go to the community board and post something.

By far the worst Jimmy John’s in the area. I absolutely love their new sandwich, but can’t have salami. Every other Jimmy John’s I was able to substitute it for a different meat. This was the only location I could not do that I was charged like I had an extra meat on the sandwich and was told this is the only way we can do it because we can’t put these ingredients on a different sub. There was so much oil I had to wipe off my sandwich before I could even pick it up. The bread was very well done. I think I will stick to the Dells or Baraboo locations.

Today I walked into Jimmy John’s in Portage starving and in a hurry on my lunch hour. At approximately 11:45 am I step to the counter and the guy making sandwiches looks over at me and says, “It will be at least 15 to 20 minutes before I can wait on you!” I looked back in disbelief assuming he was kidding because I was in the place where they brag I will receive my sub so fast I will freak. He then told me they have a lot of catering and they needed time to work on that. I immediately walked out. What????? I am standing right there waiting to spend my money on their overpriced food and they don’t want to wait on me or take my money? Well I was a fairly regular customer, but now I will find other places to have my lunch and spend my money. Pathetic service!! I cannot wait to tell everyone I know this story. Learn how to run a business, you hacks!!

I’m a customer here quite often Service is always pretty good food is excellent and location is nice. However today it was pretty slow I did to drive through and it took them probably about 15 minutes I was sitting at the window waiting for my food.
