T’s Bar & Lounge—formerly known as the Circle Bar—has long been a familiar place in the community. Over the years, I’ve visited a handful of times, even after long gaps, and it always maintained a consistent, laid-back vibe that kept me open to returning.
However, during my most recent visit—around lunchtime—I had a very troubling experience that left me deeply disappointed. The young woman working behind the bar was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Her tone and attitude were not only inappropriate but came across as racially insensitive and personally offensive. What I experienced bordered on defamation of character. Everyone is entitled to their personal opinions, but professionalism means leaving those opinions out of customer interactions—especially when representing a public business.
Additionally, the cook in the back was uncooperative from the start. I stopped in simply to order a salad, and he acted as if I was bothering him. Moments later, he left work early without addressing or completing my order. That kind of behavior shows a complete lack of regard for customers and the business itself.
This experience was unacceptable on many levels. T’s Bar & Lounge should be reviewed by the appropriate department within Allegheny County to ensure it’s meeting the standards required for serving the public—standards that include respect, fair treatment, and professionalism.
I hope this review brings awareness and encourages the ownership to take a serious look at their staff, their customer service practices, and the overall culture they allow to operate under their roof. Patrons deserve better.

This bar is an interesting experience. My friends recommended this spot for the food, but I had trouble getting the bartender’s attention to serve me, even when she was serving the people right next to me. She just played on her phone and totally ignored me. I left after only one drink and wasn’t able to get food.
This feels like a small-town bar where you have to know someone to be treated well. I’ll probably try coming back with a friend to see if there’s a difference.

WOW please tell me; how do you charge $20 for the worst steak salad in the entire city?? it’s literally made out of rabbit food and chopped up steak-um meat. seriously how do you charge $20 for low grade dogfood?? i showed up at the time it was supposed to be ready and had to stand around for twenty extra minutes waiting on this garbage food. i know it’s a hometown bar so it has its own crowd, but you’re never going to get any more business serving the worst bar food while charging upscale prices! and to be honest, this place looks like it doesn’t want any more business. totally insane. avoid this place like the plague

The food was very, very good. We bought an appetizer, which was delicious. It was the broccoli and cheese puffs. The dip that went with them was really good too. We both bought a salad. They were both delicious. I was expecting larger shrimp on my grilled shrimp salad. We will definitely go there again. Great place. Friendly, efficient service.

Certain places had a chance to become extremely great especially if they are connected with the community. However there has been multiple times where I have been in this establishment by myself and have been disrespected by men. And even with this the owner did never spoke up or defended his establishment or his customer. Even though I once patronize this place I would never do it again. This establishment need to be rebooted with new ideas and more respectful (male) customers. The one thing I miss is quiet conversations in the corner with Ms Darlene (RWA) I know exactly now what you were talking about for all those years.

Great social environment and a secured location with over 40 years in business, they have .75cent wing night every thursday while ya listen to great new school and old school music. This location also has take but no delivery. To sum it up its a great neighborhood lounge.

The food is excellent. It’s a safe place to hang out, socialize , sing karaoke. They offer a big room upstairs for parties/ meetings.
