On the daily special menu, my bride Julie ordered the seared scallops, served on a bed of white bean puree, house made bacon bits, and green beans, topped with pear jam. The scallops were perfectly seared, and paired well with the bed of bacon and veggies, and the pear jam topping was a delightful combination.
I ordered the Dragon Scale pizza, with red sauce, moondust bacon, salami, pepperoni, mozzarella, pistachios, and hot honey. The pizza was perfectly cooked in a wood-fired oven, with the crispy crust and pizza bubbles we all know and love with typical wood-fired pizza.
These guys definitely know how to marry some very different flavor profiles together.
Looking forward to stopping here again the next time we travel through here. Thank y’all!
First off, let me say it was quite the interesting experience getting in here today! My best friend and I were visiting for the second time, but they were closed . We were extremely disappointed because it was for my birthday lunch, and when we saw the sign, we popped our heads inside. I explained our situation: it was our second time trying, and it was also my birthday .
Joey immediately said, “Oh no, you guys are coming inside, and we’re making you a pizza!” I had the Ruxin, and my friend had another pizza. They both were DELICIOUS! Made with love and attention to detail!!! Sooooooo good! Totally worth the drive !
We also got to try some of the food they were going to be catering for the evening, and it was fantastic—top-notch! To top it all off, Joey gave me a piece of cheesecake! He really made my birthday feel special, and I can’t thank him enough .
I’ll definitely be back for a third, fourth, and fifth time! This is now my favorite pizza place—better than all the places I’ve tried in Tupelo! Even though it’s 30 minutes away, it’s absolutely worth the drive.
If you’re in town, you’ve got to check this place out! They have the most amazing wood-fired pizzas . Thanks again, Joey!
I got two Margherita it was truly a symphony of flavors.
I ate them on the way to the hotel
And everyone was nice and friendlyI mean, if you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend it
