Beyond the food, the atmosphere is wonderful. The owners, Bobby and David, were there and couldn’t have been nicer. It’s rare to find such great food paired with such genuine, warm hospitality. If you’re looking for a top-tier meal in town, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!
Highly recommend checking it out-you won’t be disappointed. Thank you, Bobby and everyone at Carve!
The menu offers a great variety of sandwiches, with so many good options that it was hard to choose. We ended up ordering the Cuban and the signature pork sandwich, and both were outstanding. You could truly taste the quality in every bite. The roll was fresh and soft with just the right amount of crunch, and the sesame seeds added a great depth of flavor.
We love supporting local businesses, and Carve 52 is one we’ll absolutely be returning to. Already looking forward to our next visit and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
I tried the specialty beef sandwich and was seriously impressed. The meat was tender, juicy, and full of rich flavor, and the locally baked bread held everything together perfectly — soft enough to soak up the juices, but sturdy enough to handle every bite. It’s clear that every ingredient was carefully chosen.
As a Doylestown local who travels often, it’s awesome to see a place like this pop up — fresh, friendly, and rooted in real food. Chef Zach (who I also play basketball with at the Y!) is doing a great job bringing energy and creativity to the kitchen. He’s a West Chester grad and former baseball player, and you can see his passion in the food.
The space is welcoming, the team is enthusiastic, and while the shop is still growing, it already feels like a local staple in the making. Hoping they add gelato soon — it’d be the perfect sweet finish.
Whether you’re catching a film at the County Theater or just craving something real and satisfying, Carve 52 is absolutely worth a stop. So glad I went!
UNBELIEVABLE! In a world filled with kiosks and “just going through the motions” service- I couldn’t believe that an eatery like this existed!
Upon entering it’s alluring, tucked away location, we were greeted by the hostess who had the brightest, most welcoming, smile! Her warm demeanor set a positive tone as we ordered our food.
The menu focuses on handcrafted, creative sandwich, (and soup), combinations- a tough decision, as every choice sounded mouth-watering. The head chef was in view and with a genuine smile he helped us customize our order.
There was a welcoming ambiance about the space with rustic wood floors, tables set with checkered tablecloths, and small lamps. We sat ourselves in the cozy, intimate, atrium.
The minestrone soup was simply soul warming. It comprised of a rich broth with a medley of hearty ingredients, making each spoonful a delight!
Both the veggie sandwich and the hand carved turkey sandwich were packed with fresh, quality ingredients tucked into a roll… (Gotta write about the roll…. Bread can make or break a sandwich and WOW did this bread MAKE IT! It was so fresh! Italian style- crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside- baked to perfection), and covered in a blanket of creamy cooper sharp cheese. Pure Bliss.
As we were indulging, Bobby Simone himself came over, warmly welcomed us, chatted with us a bit, and showed us around. We felt like esteemed guests. It was a wonderful experience.
