Hearty Austrian & German cooking sits next to Thai dishes & pizza at this eclectic strip-mall spot.

Great place to visit for a unique authentic experience. There are not too many restaurants in the area that offer the German/Austrian experience. After visiting those countries recently and participating in local Octoberfest festivities in Northern Virginia shortly after we made our 3 Rd visit to Euro Bistro for their Oktoberfest celebration, after previously visiting for a standard meal a month earlier.
They truly created a spectacular experience that has me planning on coming back more regularly than the once in a blue moon I previously did. Truly made you feel like you were in Europe for a festival celebration.

Wow, what a fantastic place. We stopped here for dinner with several friends and had such a a great time. The menu is varied and the Jagerschnitzel I had was tender and full of flavor. They even had purple cabbage which I love. A good selection of German bottled beers and even a Lager and Hefeweizen draft in traditional Liter sized!! The staff there is really outstanding. We felt attended to but not intruded upon.
We will be making this place a regular dinner event with our group.

Very cozy, a better word charming. The pictures posted were stuffed cabbage, potato salad , a salad , chicken schnitzel, and kraut. Very good . The owners were very nice and the diners were friendly too. Nice experience would recommend.

Euro Bistro is a wonderful restaurant! We came here a few weeks ago looking for authentic German food and… Wow!! The flavors were amazing, authentic, and the portions were incredible. This spot needs more recognition for what great food it brings and more importantly it also has great service. Noelle was our server and was one of the sweetest people we’ve ever met. The staff as a whole is very attentive and super fast. If you haven’t tried this spot, you’re missing out. We will absolutely be back and will bring anyone who visits us while we live in this area. Do yourself a favor and try this locally owned, gem!

Not sure if it was an off-night or how things normally are. Went once and won’t go back. Usually, I’ll get the schnitzel at a German restaurant as it’s good to know if they can handle the basics… so I did exactly that. It not seasoned at all (both the schnitzel and the spaetzle), the crust was not quite right. The staff looked pretty busy, but they were pleasant once you got their attention. I’m really sorry, but the food just didn’t seem authentic. For context, I’ve been to Germany twice so I am familiar enough with both of these dishes. I really hope it was just a one-off for the restaurant.

I came here last night and as usual I was greeted by the owner. She’s such a lovely lady. I had my favorite of course the Jägershcnitzel.
The beer was humungous and the food is Phenomenal. Definitely coming back here again.

We love this place – the food is always good. We lived in Europe , Germany and visited Austria frequently and the food tastes pretty authentic to us and the service is great. In fact, we understand that the owner is Austrian, not sure if he’s also the chef though. We were there on a Friday and they had a lovely young couple playing German music, which added to the atmosphere and was really nice. The only light critique we’d offer would be that the ventilation is not great there – there’s a good bit of greasy odor in the dining room… but that can be super easily overlooked for the awesome food and nice ambiance! I like their chicken schnitzel and German potato salad, while my husband loves their jaegerschnitzel. The place is favored by locals and regulars and one guy told us he’s been coming there from Maryland. Great place all around. We’ll definitely be back.

Third visit here, and the place is clean, comfortable chairs, they have a local artist are on the walls, ready to buy, which gives it a very nice touch. It’s definitely a family restaurant and it seems wind that is favored by the community because normally it is busy. The food is so fresh, you can feel like you can taste it and it’s really good. We ordered the weinerschnitzel (lightly breaded pork) with egg noodles and also jaegerschnitzel and sauteed potatoes! Needless to say they were fresh and delicious. The dishes are decent sized and the sauces served were really good. Mine was with a tomato base, my husband’s was heavenly since it had mushrooms and it made the sauce very tasty. This place doesn’t disappoint. Imagine yourself in a bistro in Germany or Belgium eating home made awesome food. A taste of Europe in the DMV. Not pretentious but delicious!

I visited it thinking it would be an awesome spot for German food, there there isn’t any flair to it. I didn’t the options and it didnt seem like they had anything German on the menu, minimal items that stand out as authentic to me.
Service is fine, nothing special or felt like it was super welcoming or anything. The atmosphere is more like a corner store feel with no excitement to it, the prices are high for what it is compared to others…
Service Bread: These were hard! Like old bread that they toasted up. The tastes where you leave bread out too long and toast it up, hard to bite.
Sausage Platter: The sausages were ok, I wouldn’t expect any of it is homemade or anything, it was just expensive sausages you can biy at the any German market.
Spatzel: There side spatzel tastes like nothing, it really did taste like water and flour. There was no spices or flavor to it, extremely bland.
Not my new hotspot or anything~

Absolutely delicious German comfort food. Plenty of great menu selections will have you coming back again and again. The Japanese selections (calamari, potsickers, spring rolls and more) are a fresh, delicious, unexpected surprise.
The service is usually fairly decent with a cozy ambiance. It’s kind of tucked away and looks a bit unassuming from the outside, but definitely give it shot for lunch or dinner. It’s 4.5 stars for me.
