We were the only dine in customers on this day and time but there was a steady flow through the drive thru. They were also taking phone orders.
She had chicken fried rice and I had the cashew chicken meal which included an egg roll and won ton. We both had small drinks. They don’t have sweet tea. The food was ok, but nothing that would call us back.
The place was very clean and well maintained with a courteous staff.

The overall restaurant is incredibly clean, especially the bathroom. They did leave a lot of tables cluttered with the previous customers’ dishes, though. The food was prepared well, but they gave you very little on your plate. In other words, you were charged a lot for very little. As a result, I won’t be going back.

They use so many more vegetables than other Chinese restaurants give you. THE VERY FRESH VEGETABLES ARE ALWAYS COOKED PERFECT, and have been just slightly cooked to make them very soft. I just love their brown sauce that seems to be in all their dishes.
The picture is a number 12, Large Pepper Steak, spicy, with Extra Water Chestnuts. I love when you dine in, they give you your rice on separate plate, and a plate for your Dining Companion. With 6 different colleges in Springfield, Missouri, there seems to be like almost 30 Chinese fast food.
Pine Garden is the very best one. Their Awesome restaurant is always so so clean, from their customers bathrooms to the dining room. We don’t even Live in Springfield as we live in Poplar Bluff, almost 4 hours away. But when Driving to Springfield, all we can think about is a Gourmet food freshly cooked to order, At Pine Garden!!!@@!!!
It also tastes the same Everytime. I’ve been eating their Great Food since 2013, over 11 years. I still get so Excited about getting an Awesome meal, that’s HEALTHFUL, and the Very Best Chinese Restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. I’ve eaten the best Chinese in Chinatown in San Francisco, and Pine Garden is so so much better than any Chinese restaurant I’ve ever eaten at!!!.

After ordering in the drive through (only 1-2 people in line, after i got home i saw that one of my entrees was missing and that I live a half hour away. They insisted the policy is to only fix your order by bringing back all of the food and receipt. Check your bags before you leave. This place is a scam. Paid 12.99 for two entrees but only received one. Told them in the phone I would leave a bad review and I Won’t be back obviously, but the food tasted good. Not going to waste an hour driving back to a restaurant to return food that will get cold from all of the traveling back and forth to a place that won’t believe me or refund me. Too many other Chinese restaurants in town to go to. Also very small portions. If i hadn’t ordered crab Rangoon for us we’d still be hungry. New China gives you so much more food. This place needs to shut down! Hopefully they improve but they suck for their policies especially when it’s their fault.

I like the size of pieces of chicken and the cashew gravy isn’t runny good flavor and texture. I am back to remove a star. The food is still good, but the price has went up again by another 1$. I don’t think I will be eating here as often as I do anymore.

I’ve been through the drive-through several times. I ordered general chicken the first time and did not care for it. I expected it to be sweet and spicy but it was just spicy, no sweetness. I do, however like the cashew chicken and the crab rangoon is excellent. Employees have always been friendly. A large cashew chicken and a 4 pc crab rangoon is about $19.00 and I can get 4 meals out of it.

I ordered the General chicken and Crab Rangoon. The chicken seemed to be good quality. The sauce was actually fairly spicy, which is good, but rare around here. The crab Rangoon was very good. The rice was also very good. Bits of veggies and egg in it. My food was very fresh. You could tell the crab Rangoon was fresh out of the fryer . Included was a small amount of sweet & sour to dip your crab Rangoon in.
the service was sub par. I waited in line behind 2 men and both of their orders were wrong. Which took a while to resolve. It appeared to be the guys first day, so I understand the mistakes. This was my first experience here, and first impressions are everything. He should have had help.
The only thing that would improve the food would be the addition of veggies to the meal like broccoli .

Ordered large black pepper chicken and large cashew. The cashew was my favorite out of the two. I would definitely eat here again. Pics is what was remaining after we ate. Pretty good size portions.
