Most people love their own mother’s cooking. We have a big family and always told our mom that her cooking was the best. We decided to open a small to-go pho/sandwich place. We felt mom’s cooking needed to shared with the world. We found the perfect place and location. We all know that most of the customers complaint is that the place is too small. But from the beginning MaMa’s was supposed to be just a to-go place. Mama wanted to add a couple tables just in case someone wanted to have a cup of coffee and a sandwich real quick before heading to work. We did not see how big and popular Mama’s would get in the future. We’d like to thank each and every single one of you for giving us the opportunity to give our mom’s cooking a try.

Just basic in my opinion. I was a little turned off by the flys landing on the chopsticks and spoons that they have on the tables. I had chicken Pho, and it was okay. I have had better. The large bowl seemed more like a small, compared to other Pho restaurants I have been to. On the bright side, they were fast with my order and checking out.

I have eaten Phó take out before so I knew what to expect. When I opened my good to eat I found that the broth was not hot. I had to microwave the broth and the meatballs because the meatballs were still frozen. Everything else was fine. For a soup place you would figure that the soups would be hot if not boiling hot. I’m going back to MAC Phó.

Good place to go for a quick fix. Not the roomiest spot. Small. Not a lot of condiments just sriracha and hoisin sauce only on the table. I got the #20 bon Bo hu. Average broth. Decent place. Wouldnt go back tho. In my opinion. There’s Better spot then this. So I give it a 3 star.

I have eaten here for years and they recently changed owners earlier thus year and late last year. Menu is the same but some things taste different. I got the 26 and 23. The shrimp and no seasonings and we’re cold. The portions are smaller and my grilled pork sandwich was dry. The sandwiches used to.be the best in Stockton. I have to testify that is not the case anymore. Still a good place to eat but not as good as it was before the change in ownership.

Went here for lunch earlier today.
Food came out as it was finished, fresh and hot. We sat for maybe 45 minutes total, but had only ordered maybe 10 minutes before the first dish came out.
Staff was friendly and patient, tables were quickly bussed and cleaned after each table left. The restaurant is cozy, clean and prices are reasonable.

NOT EVEN BUSY!! Horrible service, they shouldn’t pick and choose who they want to serve. We sat there for 30 minutes!! Never ask if we want any drinks, on top of it, we ordered the food first, then the other couple just walked in, didn’t take them long to get service, on top of that, we waited for another 20 minutes!! For the food, the couple just got service and barely walked in. They ordered their food. They got their food first, then we!! I will never go in there again, which is outrageous. I know another place with good service, and that serves good food, MAC PHO.
