The Monte Cristo is almost as good as the ones they had at Bennigan’s. If they would update the inside it would be a 5 star experience, but the food is definitely good.

There is nothing like southern hospitality!! Louisiana heads down knows how to do it. Yep I said it. I had country fried steak!! THANK YOU COOKS….it was phenomenal. The atmosphere was truly that mom’s and pops vibe. Felt like home. City girl from CO. This was a blessing. Go try it yall.

Went here for the first time with my dad this morning for breakfast, this place was sooo good. Got a ham, egg, and cheese croissant and it was massive. Very affordable prices and really nice staff. They were working hard this morning, only two of them in the front, but the waitresses did well with being attentive despite having to serve a lot of people. I will definitely come back!

Third time eating here. I have always gotten the Monte Cristo which is awesome. I decided on the chicken biscuit and it seemed as though it had been thawed and warmed up. The cheese was cold and the chicken tough. So disappointing. Our server (very sweet) second day on the job was doing her best, but we felt as though she should have been still training. She was so lost , but not her fault at all. It will be awhile before we go back.

This place is cute and comfortable. The staff is really sweet. My grandparents are regulars, and the waitresses always come say hello to them, even when they aren’t waiting on us. The food is good too. I recommend the boudin omelet. It’s huge and delicious!

The past 3 times I have been in for take out they have given incorrect order. I called and the 1st time they gave a credit bc food was greasy and 1 entree was missing all together. This morning they messed the order up again. I waited for them to fry a pork chop bc they gave me grilled instead. The bag was tied so I didn’t check. When I got home I had 2 greasy grilled pork chops instead of one fried. Missing half my other entree. Called and got argued with that I was only missing a biscuit and sausage and got told i got an extra pork chop. This is true but I ordered 1 fried and waited for them to fix it. They offered to give it to me if I drove all the way back which is not ok bc gas is expensive. With my breakfast meal I got eggs and hashbrowns only. So in short I’m missing half order and got pork chops so greasy they’re inedible. I keep giving them chances to correct they’re mistakes but I will not be back.

Always feel like family coming here. Knew going in that the cooking staff was out sick and the owner had to balance back and forth from kitchen to hosting. It took a little longer, but knowing why made a huge difference. The boudin omelet is delicious and you can’t do your palate wrong with it. Yum! Would add a picture but it would be an empty plate.

How is it that I didn’t know about this place sooner? Great Homestyle breakfast and lunch menu! Really enjoyed the casual atmosphere and friendly service. The food was wonderful. Will make this a regular stop.
