Okay, don’t write this place off just because it’s a bar; that doesn’t mean the food will be simple bar food (small portions, quick, fast, easy, ready-made food). The food is fantastic, fairly inexpensive, a delight the moment it touches your tongue, wishing it would never end. They let you customize the food the way you want, adding or removing whatever ingredients. Try the “make your own burger” option; build it with whatever you feel like, and they’ll make it. The atmosphere was pleasant and easily enjoyable when we came. It was slightly packed, being a Saturday evening, with everyone talking and enjoying rounds of darts, and a few people hitting the gambling machines they had in the restaurant. If they do get a little packed, it does take a moment for the food, but the atmosphere and the waitresses made the small wait time just fly by and have you enjoy every moment having to wait, and in that wait time, the perfection of the food as it came out just made it even more worth it.

Decided to take a drive and headed to Velva. Wanted burgers and pop. Meet a wonderful employee, Patsy. Visited with us, helped with choices on the menu. Great burgers and wonderful groups of people coming in to eat to. Will put on calendar to stop by another day. Thank you very much.

Stellar Service – Wow, these gals were FANTASTIC!
Bar setting, has high top tables with beer bucket condiment holders – dart boards & claw games.
Better pricing than what we’ve been seeing lately. I’d go so far as to say incredible pricing on everything except the onion rings. While the rings were good, at $7.99 per side, I’d say they weren’t worth it… with the size of the burgers/ sammiches, I’d go so far as to say you probably won’t need ’em.
They do have a pick 3 for $19 sides/starters menu – most are, of course, fried foods. Rumor has it that the fried pickles are amazing, for what it’s worth.
The build your own options are greatly varied & kind of overwhelming for our first visit. To avoid the inevitable “burger, bacon, cheese” rut, we chose a couple of their special selections, the unexpected favorite had sausage, bacon, egg & syrup on toast. We would NEVER have selected these options had we chosen on our own.
The tap selections were also extensive and only $6 per pint for craft brews. Our total came to $46!

Great service and atmosphere. Burger was slightly over done but being able to get venison is a rarity. Definitely would recommend stopping by.

Small place, but amazing food and service. The chicken sandwich was fresh and cooked to perfection. Build your own burgers with plenty of options and lots of sides to choose from. They also have specials on specific nights, wood fire Saturday, steak Thursday, etc. Definitely recommend going out of your way to give it a try.

I had the “Fastest cop in the west”, 1/2lb. Burger loaded with yummy ingredients on a pretzel bun. This is a place where you can really have the burger your way ! I mentioned to waitress that I was on a quest for the best Rueben sandwich. It wasn’t on the menu but she suggested a delicious alternative with thinnly sliced rib eye. I ordered it to go. Thumbs up to the cook !!

I am a picky picky Jew from calabasas, and this was the best burger I can remember that I’ve ever had. I don’t know what they do sprinkle some fairy dust on that but it is good and so was the bacon amazing atmosphere friendly waitresses. And great prices and the pickle chips are so good probably the best I’ve had since leaving Alabama
