Reviews
The main dish for me was Huevos Rancheros and my foodie in crime that day ordered her usual shredded beef hard shell tacos when hitting up our fav Mexican food places.
I really wanted to try the Horchata or Jamaica that thy most likely make there, but it was all sold out. Only means one thing, right!
I really enjoyed the service and feel of the small dining area. We agreed we would go back when back over this way.
My fiancé recommended this place to me so I figured I’d give it a shot.
This place is small and very low key. The food was really good and prices were very reasonable. When we got there all the seats were full and there was a small wait, which meant it was probably a good spot. Shortly after arriving we were seated. The servers weee very friendly and quick to provide service.
The chips were homemade and perfect, consistently cooked but not burnt and not saggy. The salsas were all homemade and very delicious.
I tried the red pork tamale and chili verde pork with potatoes, egg and beans. My partner in crime ordered chiliquiles with salsa verde. All of it was very delicious and well worth the wait and drive. I’ve gotten the red chilaquiles and the green and both are equally great. They put green salsa in the red salsa, the sauce also comes with pieces of scrambled egg and very small pieces of pork. It has a nice kick too it as well, but u can always request for non spicy, no egg and non pork in ur sauce. The sauce is unique
