What a treat and a gem of a place. Stopped for lunch on a Saturday around noon. Fairly well rounded menu as expected front a BBQ place. I had the Brisket plate. A generous serving and the meat was awesome. Half dozen choices for sauce that are house made. Service was excellent, staff friendly. Historic building put back in to service was decorated nicely. If you like BBQ I recommend a stop. It also appears they have adult beverages as well.
A somewhat stoic Elvis is there to greet you.

Cool looking place, good service, below average food. We split a combo for one and it was plenty of food for us. The ribs…cold and tough, seemed like they maybe needed a few more hours in the smoker. The sausage tasted good but it didn’t have much smoke flavor. The chopped beef was also lacking flavor. The coleslaw was average too. Sadly the best thing on the platter was the frozen okra they fried. Maybe I’m spoiled from eating good barbecue in the south but this doesn’t measure up to true BBQ IMO.

This place had some of the best brisket I’ve ever had. It was tender, meaty and flavorful. For lunch, it wasn’t crowded at all. Their sauces were great including the blueberry BBQ sauce which was a new one for me. It was a bit pricey for a BBQ place, but there was way more food than we could eat.

There is so much I want to say about this place. Nothing I say would do it justice. It’s truly something you have to experience for yourself!! Absolutely 5 star and bring an appetite!

I’m a fan of spicy, so I ordered the El Diablo burger and it set me on fire , but was worth every bite! The smallest details of the food amazed me. Everything was garden fresh and flavorful! The sauces they make are all great, but the Blueberry hot was my favorite.

Service was spot on and our waitress was prompt and friendly!

The Historic Ice House is a site to behold. Indoor and out it has lots of memorabilia to set the atmsophere. The service was friendly and fast, the lemonade had virtually no sweetness, the hamburger was excellent, the french fries merely warm and way too limp.

I’ll give it another try and have the BBQ they are famous for in order to give them a more rounded review.

Great BBQ! Had the pulled pork w/ blueberry BBQ sauce, sweet potato with homemade sweet butter and fried Okra! All delicious! Haley’s customer service is fantastic, very welcoming and friendly stop on way to/from CO/TX.

Cute place, nice people, food wasn’t very good which is disappointing given this place has high ratings. Meat has very little smoked flavor, BBQ sauces are too sweet (including the Howling Hot sauce, which was extremely sweet followed by significance of spice, not unlike an Asian sweet and spicy sauce). The blueberry BBQ sauce was an interesting concept, but after a few bites it was not very palatable. The strangest to me was the chopped brisket being chopped so finely that it was almost ground beef, it needed to be scooped up with a spoon rather than forked. If I’m ever down this way again, maybe a beer or two at the bar would be appropriate but I don’t think I would go here for another major meal.

The okra was amazing. The brisket was solid, but expected a bigger portion. 3-4 slices instead of 2 for $18 would have been a better value. Good nonetheless. Service was excellent.

Fried sweet pickles was a first and was good. The service was quick and friendly. The barbecue had good flavor but was cold.

I had the nachos and they were different. No beans and the brisket seemed to be a bit on the fatty side, but hey, they were good with some Stella! The white cheese sauce was also good. My husband loved the ribs!
