The food was great overall. Tasted fresh and flavorful. The szechuan chicken was the best and the biryani was nice and spicy. One issue was the butter chicken was a tad bit bland but it was still tasty paired with the garlic naan.

The atmosphere and service was satisfactory. We went during downtime so our food came out quickly and the restaurant was also clean.

I was really looking forward to trying this Indian buffet, especially since it’s a family-run establishment and I genuinely like supporting small businesses. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.

From the moment we arrived, the customer service lacked basic etiquette and warmth. There was no welcoming attitude, and interactions felt dismissive rather than hospitable. When we asked about the naan — which was clearly mentioned as being served at the table — the server made a visible face and curtly responded that it was at the buffet table “today.” There was no polite explanation or apology for the change. It felt unprofessional and unnecessary.

The food quality was also underwhelming. Several of the appetizers were cold, as if they had been sitting out for quite some time. For a buffet, especially at the price charged, I expect food to be fresh and properly maintained at serving temperature.

Running a family business is admirable, but that alone doesn’t excuse poor service or lack of attention to basic dining standards. Good food is important, but respectful service and consistency matter just as much. Unfortunately, this experience missed the mark on both.

I hope they take feedback seriously and improve, but based on this visit, I would not return.

Pomfret Fry
Really enjoyed this one. The fish was fresh, nicely crispy on the outside, and juicy inside. Spices were on point without overpowering the fish. Simple, clean flavors and cooked just right.

Malvani Fish Fry
This had great flavor. The Malvani masala really came through with a nice spicy kick. The fish was well cooked and not greasy at all. If you like bold, coastal-style spice, this one’s a must.

Amritsari Fish
Super crispy and addictive. The batter was light and crunchy, and the fish inside stayed soft. Tasted exactly how Amritsari fish should — went really well with the chutney.

Chicken Tikka
Solid chicken tikka. Well-marinated, juicy, and had that smoky tandoor flavor. Nothing overdone, just classic and satisfying.

Tandoori Chicken
This was done really well. Nice char, good spice level, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. Definitely comfort food if you’re craving proper tandoori chicken.

Hariyali Murg Kebab
Fresh and herby, not too spicy. The chicken was juicy and had a nice green chutney flavor throughout. A good option if you want something lighter but still flavorful.

Malai Murg Kebab
One of my favorites. Super soft, creamy, and melt-in-the-mouth. Mild but full of flavor — great if you don’t want something spicy.

Vada Pav
Felt like proper street-style vada pav. Soft pav, spicy potato filling, and great flavor overall. Simple, nostalgic, and hits the spot.

Sabudana Wada
Crispy outside, soft inside, and not oily. Nicely seasoned and fresh. Perfect as a snack or starter.

Onion Fritters
Hot, crunchy, and comforting. Light batter, sweet onions, and fried just right. Easy to finish the whole plate.

Food was good. We ordered Chicken 65, Baby Corn Manchuria, Paneer Saag, Chicken Kali Mirch, Paneer Naan and Keema Naan. Vegetarian food was good, chicken 65, kali mirch weren’t upto our expectations. I like the food here and I would keep going there.

Delicious food and a perfect meal to warm me up on a frigid day. Tomato basil soup is outstanding! Aloo gobi and Chicken Tikka Masala are both fantastic choices and have the perfect amount of spice. And the warm roti is fantastic. Can’t wait to come back again very soon!

Visited Imperial Kitchen for their buffet yesterday. The entire experience was nothing short of FANTASTIC! Was impressed with the large number of delicious entrees. Also, the staff was extremely friendly and quite helpful in informing us about the various dishes. They initiated us to a WONDERFUL dessert. We will DEFINITELY return. I STRONGLY recommend this outstanding restaurant!

Overall bad experience. Appetizers in the buffet were cold, and we asked for several times and they finally warmed them. For Nans, they had a policy written to order on the table, later we were told that the policy does not apply for Valentine’s Day (why not remove the notice then?). After standing waiting for naan for 10 mins, they told us that it will be delivered to the table. But guess what – it wasn’t for another 10 mins. By this time we had lost the appetite. For the cheque, they added a charge for 3 year old kid for the buffet. When my wife clarified the age policy, they said it was 4 and above and finally removed it. Finally, by this time, I wasn’t sure if the gratuity even applies for the horrible service that we received and that too for the buffet, to this the lady at the counter said that you need to pay gratuity because it’s a large family (had 2 kids with one sleeping through the lunch lunch and 4 adults).

I usually do not rate any place 1 star, but they service ruined my food experience with the family on Valentine’s Day.

We had butter chicken, lamb seekh kebab, chicken 65 biryani, garlic naan and butter naan.

All good stuff overall and worth trying.
This place opened up where the Delicia Mexican Grill used to be. it’s only been here since late 2023 and definitely deserves your support so go check it out. You will not be disappointed overall

More details below if you’re interested.

If you compare the food here to the food on Devon Street in Chicago it would not be fair because there’s just so much variety and so many expert Indian and Pakistani cooks so I won’t make that comparison and try to be fair.

If you’re familiar with the taste of butter chicken in Pakistani restaurants, this is not the same. This is the Indian version. Your mileage may vary, but I prefer the Pakistani version much more.
In the Indian version, the gravy is not as thick and chicken is a bit chewy and tastes like tofu for some reason. Not saying the dish was not tasty, it was just not what I’m used to with the Pakistani style butter chicken.

The lamb seekh kebab was very good. However there were only six small pieces on the plate as you will see in the picture. I think the price for this should’ve been close to $12 and not the $20 we paid for this dish.

The chicken 65 biryani was pretty good in taste and served in a very nice fancy bowl. Great presentation.

They have a buffet every day between 11 AM to 2:30 PM. $15.99 on weekdays and $19.99 on weekends. If you want to see what’s on the menu in the buffet, check out their Facebook page.

One more thing to keep in mind: that they are closed on Mondays.

Shahi Chicken Biryani and Veg dum Biryani didnot taste good. Chicken used in Chicken Pakora did not taste fresh.
Chicken Hakka noodles and Amritsari Fish were nice.
Rude and disrespectful attitude made our experience worse. Will never return again 🙁
