The wings and service were great. We went two nights in a row since there at NOT many options to eat in this town. We went on buffet night also, but did not partake in the food. I had a macaroni dish that was decent, but needed more seasoning. Jody had a ceasar salad with plenty of chicken. Service was good and the karake the first night was entertaining.

My husband and I have been traveling from St. Louis to the Up. In the last 8 days we have everything from fast food to restaurants. Tonight we were completely blown away. The was absolutely incredible amazing I had the buffalo chicken mac and cheese my husband had Caesar salad Wisco Frisco burger it was cooked perfect. We were so full it was hard to stop. We have all been there, where the food is good you don’t want to stop but you stomach is like please no more. Delivery so to our room not the front desk. He was extremely nice well mannered and polite. People like him just don’t exist anymore. Trust me, I have 2 business of my own.They told us 45-1 hour for delivery but he was he way before that. Food was hot felt like it just came out of the kitchen. Prices oh my god, are normal prices. Most restaurants with food like this would charge so much more. (Not always the best way to make money) keep the price range and people will keep coming. I cannot say enough about this restaurant. All I can say is if your restaurant is doing well take some lessons from them. They got it going on!

The atmosphere is old fashioned laid back. The Nitro Luna Coffee Stout is smooth with an umami character. (A.k.a. I liked it a lot). The “Cook Out” Mac & cheese has bratwurst, sauerkraut, Ellsworth cheese and it YUMMY good (don’t judge … Eat it). Chicken wings are perfectly prepared with lots of sauce choices!

This is a really cool building, great atmosphere. Both with the decor and how the building is laid out. I was disappointed with the food. My fried fish was dark brown, over cooked. It was so crispy it was hard to eat. I’m not a fan of the pineapple coleslaw, the pineapple gives it a sour taste. The tarter sauce had no dill in it, as far as I could tell. It was all white and did not have much flavor. The portion of fish was smaller than I expected for $20. It was just one fillet. My service was slow.

After a long hard day of work, my mother and i showed up to this place for a bite to eat. She had a beer battered walleye sandwich while i had the beer battered walleye dinner. After about 20 to 25 minutes the plates of food arrived to the table. I had one filet of shift served next to cereal bowl full of tatar sauce. 2/3 of the plate were filled with fries and a half of cup pineapple coleslaw. The food was delicious, it was so good that i wanted another fish fillet. When asking for one they denied is an extra fillet (that we would of happily paid for). After the meal was done we expressed that we weren’t happy when they asked if everything was to our liking.We had this same conversation with the bus boy as well as a couple servers and the manager. The manager decided to not serve us an extra fillet to make us happy and told is that she doesn’t appreciate us berating the employee’s in which never happened. They simply aled us if we were happy to which we told them no and why we weren’t. This place is right off the lake and there shouldn’t be any shortage of walleye for customers to enjoy. I will no be showing back up to this place simply because of awful attitude of the manager specifically. Food is great, portions suck. Meanager has no clue how to do business. 1/5

The food was decent, little pricy for what it is. The atmosphere was awkward. You could hear a pin drop, music was so low you couldn’t really hear it. They had us packed in with two other high top tables on the balcony. Balcony only had 3 small tables. My spouse, myself, and two kids at a small pub table. The entire bottom of the restaurant was deserted when we got there so we could have been put at any other table. The waitress was very short/impatient, and tone was annoyed when taking our orders like she wanted to be anywhere but there. When we were leaving a large party showed up and it seemed like that was where they were focusing all their attention. Our food came out hot but it took 30 minutes and we just got sandwiches. Personally, would not go back.

Stopped here back to back nights. The first night our bartender was amazing, very personable and friendly, delicious cocktails. The second night our server brought us drinks not how we ordered them, dropped off our food without saying a word, never checked back about taste or if we needed anything else, at all. We ended up getting our tab from a totally different server. Too bad the second visit really put a damper on our lovely experience.

Walleye was good. Had bowl of tartar sauce that was bigger than the piece of fish and mountain of fries that was half the plate. Would have liked another piece of fish. Would have paid extra but they said no unless I bought another 20 dollar plate of food. We won’t be back.
