The decor in here is very minimal and doesn’t really fit the vibes that they seem to be going for, as they have beautiful piano music playing the background and it feels like they are trying to go for a more upscale experience from their presentation, food offerings and prices. They do also have infused orange water too, so I feel they should do more with their decor to truly elevate the experience here. Our waitress was very professional and efficient, she came to check on us when appropriate and served other tables with the same professionalism and smile.
I got the Mermaid Princess which was beautifully and tastefully crafted! Themed drinks and food can be tricky if it’s just randomly thrown together but you can tell there was a creative and thoughtful mind behind this creation. For food, I got their NY steak yakimono with my choice sides being the miso soup and white rice, while my boyfriend got the Double Bubble choosing the Philadelphia roll and shrimp tempura roll. We got an order of their shrimp tempura basket later too and it arrived pretty quickly. I asked for my NY steak to be cooked medium rare and they executed it perfectly as it was tender and juicy. The miso soup was good but disappointing as it was just the broth, no seaweed, tofu or green onions to make it more memorable. They do also give much more rice than necessary compared to the meat ratio. My boyfriend’s rolls were hearty as other places have smaller rolls but the cuts of ingredients and amount of rice was definitely more generous than other sushi restaurants. The shrimp tempura’s exterior was perfectly crunchy while the inside was soft and chewy. I definitely want to come back to try their other cocktails, food items and sushi rolls.
The heavenly roll lives up to the name, but if you don’t pair well with spice, the orange blossom is amazing. I had both and absolutely loved both, as well as the limited(?) time octopus karaage. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was top notch. Super friendly and helpful staff, especially for those who are indecisive (like me) and have no idea what to order. If you’re on the fence about trying a new Japanese spot, this is the perfect place to go. I ended up ordering food to-go because of how much I loved it. Will definitely be coming back, thank you so much!
p.s sorry about the quality of the photos I was just so excited to eat :>
I stopped in on a whim, craving a salmon bowl, and the chefs did not disappoint. The salmon was perfectly seared, tender, and finished with a rich teriyaki glaze that was full of flavor without being overly sweet. Paired with a balanced portion of steamed rice and fresh broccoli, the meal was filling without being heavy. I also added the cucumber salad to my order—crisp, refreshing, and a perfect complement.
The quality, taste, and freshness of the food left a lasting impression and made me eager to explore more of the menu. If you’re in the area, Nari is absolutely worth a visit. You won’t regret it.
We bring our family here for celebrations like birthdays or graduations. They’re open most holidays.
If you’re looking for a culinary experience that will leave you speechless and wanting more, Nari is the place to dine.
Big shout out to the staff at this restaurant!! My family and I received a warm welcome, smiles and 10/10 care. I really appreciated their efforts helping us get comfortable with a toddler and huge stroller.
For the food we ordered the Yakisoba beef noodles, King Kong sushi, seaweed salad and miso soup. Everything was served up less than 10minutes after ordering. The food was super delicious and plenty to share around for a family of three. They also do have a kids menu which I don’t find in most sushi places.
My favorite part was the kids plate set very adorable!!
For the drinks we had the thousand sunny and ling ling cocktail. Drinks were served in a mug which gave the one piece feel like their names. The a thousand sunny was alittle sweet for me but my husband loved it. I did however enjoy and love the ling ling.
(My husband who’s a one piece fan also got to play a little game and won a free dessert)
Atmosphere was great. Very cozy and clean.
Highly recommend and will be back !!!
