My friend and I traveled a few hours from PA to the area for business. Being back in NY, I did a quick search for the best local pastry shop and La Roma popped up.
I cannot say enough great things about this place. Absolutely delicious food, amazing selection, the counter person Jessica was outstanding. The prosciutto bread here was the best I have ever had. I spent way more then I wanted to because they had everything I love and more. I would honestly consider making the 2.5 hour trip one way to enjoy their delicious food again! Great job!

While back “home” visiting Long Island I had to get my rainbow cookie fix. I was sad to find the bakery I grew up going to went out of business. So I googled the next nearby bakery and took a shot. This cute and charming little bakery did not disappoint. My rainbow cookies were delicious and the hubby loved his cannoli. Would definitely recommend!

Cute little spot. I was helped by a woman there and honestly felt rushed considering there was no one in the store at the time. Tried the carrot cake, strawberry cake and cannoli. They were good flavor wise but I did end up finding a hair inside the cream of the carrot cake. Im not sure if she’s the owner/baker but she seemed bothered that I brought it to her attention, rolled her eyes and said “I don’t know what happened there.” I get things happen but the way she spoke made my decision easier. She did offer another piece of cake but I was honestly grossed out at that point and declined. Won’t be going back.

I ordered two cakes this week and they were amazing!! They were super fresh and so delicious. I ordered the chocolate mousse cake and the tiramisu cake. I ordered the cakes over the phone and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The store is very clean and everything in the display cases looked yummy. I will definitely be back to try more desserts!

We visited La Roma for the first time today on the way to a friend’s house and will definitely be back! The first thing you notice when you walk in is the delicious aroma of their baked goods. We purchased a variety muffins, breads and croissants, and a caramel macciato. Everything was absolutely delicious and we can’t wait to go back. We live 30 min away and think it’s worth the trip! To me the highlight was the croissants. We have been to Paris and these are better than any I have ever had, here or there. The owner waited on us personally. He comes from a family of bakers and has baked with the best. If I could give this bakery 10 stars I would! Highly recommend!! Can’t wait to try everything!
