Food was definitely not up to par. I have had General Tsao chicken before, this one was not even close to what I’ve tasted. Ordered curry chicken with onions, and for one came with carrots and snow peas, when it clearly states with onions only. it did not taste good. Shrimp and broccoli, again, not even close to what I have had…Sauce was sweet, and shrimp was soggy, like they added something to make it soft and mushy. last but not least, chicken and broccoli, same, just sweet and did not taste good. Definitely not going to them again. I was visiting from New York with my family.

Never eating here again I took one bite of the chicken. The chicken is so nasty and soggy. I also had a shrimp basket with shrimp basket wasn’t even good. No taste at all. They had dirty shrimp. They shrimp with not clean. It’s still black stuff in the shrimp. Ewwww

Hands down the BEST Chinese food I’ve tried in DC. It may seem like every cheap Chinese joint is the same, but no! Some, like this one, actually deliver delicious food every time. I order the chicken with mixed vegetables and the chicken and vegetables are always fresh and the brown sauce is very flavorful. Check it out!

Neighborhood didn’t look as rough as I expected. People of all walks of life seemed to be coming in and out of the restaurant. We aren’t from here but I saw a YouTube video that suggested this place for the wings and mumbo sauce. Only got a 2 wing combo with fries and the wings and fries were hot and fresh. Tasted like any other Chinese wings you’d get anywhere (delicious but nothing special or unique). I preferred the wings without the mumbo sauce but wanted to try since it was my first time in DC. As many of the reviews stated, the lady taking the orders has bad attitude but as long as you don’t take it personally that’s fine.

Mumbo sauce is kind of bland. But I am glad they have crinkle cut fries. Lol….. The chicken wings were a good size, the food was hot and the shrimp roll was very tasty! But they did forget to add salt & pepper as requested. The woman behind the counter was not super friendly but I wouldn’t expect her to be. This is a rough neighborhood…and there is no air conditioning in her business.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place was just awful. The service was incredibly slow and rude — the staff seemed annoyed the entire time, like we were bothering them by being there. The food was just as disappointing: bland, greasy, and definitely not fresh. To top it off, the prices were way too high for what we got. I’ve had better Chinese food from other takeout spots for half the price. Total waste of time and money. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

There is BUG IN MY FOOD in my carry-out white rice. I can’t even describe how disgusted I am but glad I saw it before continuing to eat it. I live off Van Street so this is the most convenient Chinese spot but with the owner being super rude to us always as if she’s entitled to give terrible customer service. This tops it. This is more than not ever eating there again. But I reporting them to the health department..I’m speechless (8/16/2021)

Absolutely gross, dirty, and terrible customer service. Not to mention, I asked for two extra packets of sweet-and-sour sauce and you would have thought I asked for the entire inventory. Just nasty, just rude. Just playing disrespectful with no sense of customer service skills.
