Good place to get a large breakfast for a good price. They are located in the small harbor. The pancakes where 8 inches and about an inch thick. Definitely more than enough to fill me up.

This is the place to eat breakfast while in Seward! The very few places that are open for breakfast are over priced tourist traps. Not the Lighthouse! They serve a great breakfast at very reasonable prices. The folks at the counter are friendly and helpful. We will come back again!

Good, hot and strong coffee with excellent pastries for me. The staff was very accommodating, kind and efficient. The cafe seems to be one of the social centers of Seward because of the conversations I heard and was a part of. Eric was quick and kind to give information to people who came in from the sidewalk even without a purchase from the individual.

An unassuming cafe from the outside. A great community and some amazing food on the inside. The breakfast burrito and the apple fritter were amazing. My family also really enjoyed the biscuit sandwich and the fried egg sandwich (but I think the burrito is the winner). Everyone, including the patrons, were so kind and talkative. It really made the experience great. Highly recommend stopping here if you come to Seward.

We got the French toast and breakfast burrito. Wish the burrito was a bit hot other than that. It was good. The folks were very friendly and welcoming. Nice place to check out.

Came here for breakfast and I’m so happy I did. The guy behind the counter was calm (his demeanor seems like maybe he’s prior military) but cool nonetheless. I’m happy with the amount of food I got (my picture shows my plate after eating more than half of everything ). The staff is good and so is the food. I would definitely recommend.

Not a good place for customer service. Wanted a purchased Danish warmed up and the person working the front counter was very rude in response to my request.. The microwave was on the counter by the worker, it was extremely close to him, however the worker asked customer to take a look at the people behind in line and apologize for making them wait 20 seconds for a pastry to be warmed. Additionally worker continued to berate the customer even more during the 22nd warm-up.

The next day customers mother unknowingly goes in and inquires about whether fresh cookies will be put out that day and the same worker snapped at her as well..

The coffee was nothing special either. All in all I would suggest you try a different spot for your morning pick me up.

This place is my favorite spot so far for breakfast in Seward! The apple fritter is one of the best I have ever had. Glorious crunch on the outside and gooey chewy center with the perfect amount of glaze. The breakfast was perfect and enjoyed outside watching the mountains rising above the harbor! Cannot beat this experience or value!

Found this little place first time. We visit Seward often and we tried it. Coffee was ok. Felt like the Soup Nazi of off Seinfeld. Anyway ordered a breakfast sandwich with no cheese, well it came with cheese. I returned it and a few minutes later was refunded, plus 5%. They were busy but thought they might remake it. No they did not. I will not go here again. If you try hope you have better experience. Had to get food at the food truck Caine Head! That will go back to!! Best of luck…

Nice diner style place near marina. Order at counter and they bring to your table. We both ordered the harbor breakfast. Two eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, toast and potatoes. Very tasty. Self serve coffee and water. Nice mountain views. Eric was very friendly and chatty.
