The food is great! And the staff is just as great! David and his wife as well as Gabby their daughter came out to greet my wife and I and our dog very kind hearted people. The place is nice and clean and big has many different areas to sit down and enjoy either your coffee or your meal. If you’re ever in San Pedro, I definitely recommend you stopping by and having a burger and maybe even a slice of homemade cheesecake.

Always loved this place as such a truly neighborhood hangout. It’s part of a 1/3 a block of stores in a nice residential neighborhood. I noticed they were finally offering gluten free cookies and bread and tried a gluten free chocolate cookie and a Club sandwich with gf bread. Both were excellent. Coffee and and lattes’ are very good as well. I found out they have new owners who are definitely continuing the community spirit of the Corner Store.

The Corner Store is a charming neighborhood gem that blends convenience with a friendly, welcoming vibe. Shelves are consistently well-stocked, and staff are quick to offer help without feeling pushy. Whether you’re grabbing essentials, a quick snack, or a last-minute treat, it’s a dependable stop that makes everyday errands easier. A cozy spot with fair prices and a reliably warm feel.!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and layout of the store, there were plenty of food and drink options as well as a lot of bakery items as well!
I got the Catalina Sunrise breakfast sandwich and loved how flaky the bread was and sweetness the bell peppers inside offered, I’ll definitely be back!

It makes me sad to leave this review because we used to love this place and its atmosphere.
Since the management seemed to change there a couple of years ago. It is not the same anymore. The food became less appealing (ex.the Chicago dog and other sandwiches look very different from before) and the stuffs are now less friendly.
In Google the hour said open until 6 PM and we got there at 4:45 PM on the weekend and they kicked us out at the door, saying they’re closed already. I don’t think I could come back here anymore.

I’ve been going to the corner store since I was about 7. The owners are very nice, the atmosphere is very cozy, and they have a huge selection of sodas, ranging from nostalic, to downright bizarre. The food is also great and they have events that happen every now and again, like artisan days and little barbecues with the neighborhood.

I wish I could give a better review, but I can’t, seeing at the store was in the process of closing a whole two hours earlier than posted on Google, and a whole hour earlier than what’s posted on the store itself! I drove to the place, parked at about 4:57pm, and just as I’m halfway across the road, the last employee is closing the gates and he calls to me across the street, ‘Just so you know, we’re closed now. ‘ (Paraphasing here, but you get the idea) So I start to walk back to my car, and notice that he lets in a man and his daughters who just pulled up on their bikes to the store seconds after he turned *me* away! Unbelievable. Posted the photo I took of the hours painted onto the storefront, with timestamp for transparency.
