Reviews
We each got a cocktail which was worth the $.
The service was exceptional between our server to the food runners. Prices were a bit higher than expected but no complaints. Everything was worth every penny. We will definitely dine there again and again.
Calamari to me was a little dry. I think the chef tried to compensate with a ranch dressing. The crab cake was not moist. Again tried to compensate with the corn etc base.
The mains were amazing…I had the seafood paparidel(lobster. scallops..shrimp not in short supply). The sauce was creamy and flavorable and partner had the the Braised Short rib with Brussels served over mashed. Short rib was perfectly braised…the gravy was a nice touch. the Brussels were cooked perfectly.
Drinks were well prepared. Pearl hibiscus margarita…was very tasty and pretty pinky purple color. I had the oxaca..old fashioned.
Dessert. The New York cheese cake was moist and the strawberry coule was a nice flavorable touch.
So overall 4.7 of 5
I eat everywhere.
I don’t follow trends—I follow substance.
When I find a place that delivers quietly and confidently, I pay attention.
Wemmy’s Kitchen & Lounge is one of those places.
The Occasion
• Wedding anniversary dinner.
• A night that deserved intention, not noise.
• Wemmy’s understood the assignment.
Service That Sets the Tone
• Manu, our waitress, was genuinely warm and welcoming.
• Not scripted. Not forced.
• The kind of hospitality that immediately puts you at ease.
That human touch matters.
It always elevates the experience.
The Food
• Every dish landed.
• Balanced. Thoughtful. Confident execution.
Highlights:
• Proteins cooked with precision.
• Pastas rich without being heavy.
• Desserts indulgent but controlled.
Even the basics impressed:
• Fries. Perfectly crisp.
• Garlic sauce. Clean, bold, addictive.
That’s how you know a kitchen cares—
When the “simple” things are done right.
Atmosphere
• Elegant but not stiff.
• Romantic without trying too hard.
• Ideal for anniversaries and meaningful nights out.
The One Miss
• Our table sat near the entrance.
• A cold night.
• Every door opening brought in a sharp draft.
It disrupted an otherwise seamless evening.
Comfort matters—especially at this level.
Value & Perspective
• Yes, it’s a higher price point.
• And yes, you get exactly what you pay for.
I’ve reviewed many restaurants in this area.
Most are… fine.
Some are forgettable.
Wemmy’s is neither.
This is a place with intention.
With standards.
With identity.
Final Verdict
• Rating: 4.5 / 5
• Not because it falls short—
• But because there’s always room to refine.
Would I return?
Absolutely.
Would I recommend it?
Without hesitation.
The real question is:
How many places can still surprise you when you think you’ve seen it all?
Food was great. Potentially overpriced for the quality of taste. They accommodate dietary preferences and limitations, just let them know. I booked a reservation here so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. We were smiled at and welcomed with hospitality from the moment we entered.
Niche note, but the music was desirable.
I had the pleasure of celebrating my 40th birthday here, and it was the perfect choice. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, welcoming, with an elegant feel.
The food is the real highlight — flavorful, beautifully presented, and a menu that truly sparks your curiosity. We ordered several apps and entrées to share as a family, and everything was a hit.
Definitely a spot to favorite if you’re in the area!
We made a reservation a couple weeks back and they didn’t disappoint. Our server Stephanie is top notch. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and has the hospitality gene. She isn’t over bearing and knows how to read the table! The best part was that she didn’t automatically add the 18% tip for a large party. Made me smile to know she did that. Confident in her service is what that meant to me. Kudos Stephanie.
Ambiance is great. The noise level is spot on. I swear they went out of their way to properly mitigate sound inside the building! They had live music during the brunch hours and that was awesome!
The food & drinks were top notch, fresh and made to order. From the kids food, brunch items and entrees everything hit the spot! The seasoning on the grilled chicken for salad was missing but nothing else missed. Portions great and everything was priced accordingly.
Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back again. Great first impression.
