UPDATE: The lady at the front counter gave us a full refund for the burgers and fries which I’m grateful for and we paid for the drink that we kept. She was very kind and respectful during the entire encounter.
There was a literal BITE out of my boyfriend’s burger and what looked like a bubble out of mine. We immediately took it back (of course) and the lady who was handling cash at the front counter walked to the back, grabbed a patty with her bare hands, heated it on the grill, put it on a new top bun, and handed that to me with her bare hands. I am very disappointed and disgusted… I already hate throwing away food and wasting, but it especially hurt to chuck a $15 meal Disappointing and unprofessional to say the least…. ☹️

My fiance and I both got sick after eating there. We both had a Papa Joe’s. The burgers were barely warm. I had a bad feeling while I was eating it. The lady that took our order was nice. Will not be going back.

They messed up our order multiple times even after I confirmed what the order was supposed to be. Took about 40 minutes of waiting for them to get it right. The fries were really underdone and soggy. Also really over priced.

Not many restaurant choices in this part of Idaho. Onion rings were good but they were all fried into one big lump. Good jalapeno dip, I spread that all over my burger, it was mild. Fries are exactly what you’d expect. Burger on par with fast food joints. Pretty good and thick shakes.
Funniest part of eating here was that while ordering I got the impression it was completely staffed by very tiny people. Then my wife noticed the floor behind the counter was a good foot lower than on the customer side.
Also enjoyed reading the 1960s menu to see how times have changed.

Came here after a long, cold day of fishing the St. Joe. So that might factor into this review.
Honestly, the burgers aren’t any worse than any of the other major fast food chains. At this point, all of them are equally low quality, in my opinion.
The fries leave a little to be desired. But hey, for the price, they’re warm calories.
It’s definitely an older building and isn’t updated with all the flashy new stuff you might see in a more urban setting. But you’re in a small town in north Idaho, not the middle of California.
Overall, not impressive but not horrible either. I’d definitely go here again after one of my adventures in the area.

Small town drive thru with no competition and acts like it. 30 min wait times, incorrect orders, sloppy food, filthy tables and floors. Skip it and grill your own. It will be faster and tastier I guarantee it.

Way over priced! $17.86 for chicken and fries , no drink and an undercooked order of cold breaded mushrooms. The floors were so disgusting and greasy. One lady almost slipped and we were all walking very carefully. Food crumbs lined the walls next to tables and chairs and the greasy floors were just so gross!!! Makes me wonder what the kitchen area was like where they prepare the food. Seriously, lock the doors long enough to deep clean!!!

Staff took order we ordered it to go then sat down and waited. They weren’t very busy. We observed staff screwing around and playing in grill area not making themselves available for customers… They got a customers order wrong 2 times. My husband and I had to wait for 45 minutes for our order even though my chicken sat out for roughly 15 minutes after being cooked and had to wait for my husbands burger

My wife and I ate here a couple of weeks ago, and wow!! The food was so tasty and fresh.
The burger was juicy and I swear it was char-boiled! The tater tots were crispy and had just the right amount of seasoning.
The window person was super friendly and my hats off to the cooks!

I got the double bacon cheeseburger and it was pretty good. The fries were mediocre at best and terribly overpriced. A small soda is four dollars. The worst thing about the experience was the floor. The floor in the dining room is so slippery with grease it is almost a fall hazard.
