The miso soup was the best part of the meal, had lots of fresh scallions in it. I ordered one and got two so that was super nice, loved that they came in coffee cups – super easy to drink 🙂

The sushi on the other hand was nothing super special, fish didn’t have much flavor and the ratio of fish to rice was more rice than fish on some of the rolls. For the eel avocado roll I only really tasted avocado and the eel sauce was so bland and watery. The alaska roll was pretty good as well as the yellowtail scallion but again i tasted more scallion then fish.

I like the sushi but I’m just grossed out by this, why is my misu soup in a coffee cup?!

Food are just okay. The sauce of the salad is so weird and the miso soup is really salty. Sushi was okay. The udon noodle soup tastes good! It wasn’t that crowded when we were there.

A decent place for Japanese and Korean food. Ordered the Bibimbap which was very good. The cast iron bowl came out sizzling hot which made the bottom of the rice crispy. The don bowel was also very good however the beef was overcooked. Also had to poke bowels which were good but it had too much salad in it. Prices were average and service was good.

Personally wasn’t my favorite place. My boyfriend thought they were decent and prices were good. Service was okay overall. Things just seemed over cooked or spicy. I feel everyone should try for themselves but I could recommend definitely better places just further away.

Came here for a casual dinner with a friend. I believe the place is currently under construction, considering how half the restaurnt was blocked off. The service was good, they forgot a few things here and there but overall they were very nice.
I got the soondubu jjigae (soft tofu stew) and the futomaki roll, while my friend got the bibimbap and the spider roll(?). Got a miso soup and a side salad before my food came. The main foods were good. The rolls were good too…but the rolls were a little different from what I usually get at other sushi places.. ‍♀️
Overall, it was a good experience

Korean dishes are amazing. Bulgogi and Bimbibap are highly recommended.

Edit: New visit, August 2020
Bulgogi bento box and Bimbibap again and always 100% delecious. Shrimp tempura sushi roll was one of the best sushis I’ve ever had. Seriously try it. And the Kimchi was perfect. This place is amazing!

First time visiting. Korean/Japanese restaurants.
Lunch specials are available everyday between 11:30 and 3pm, around $10 per dish.
1. Lunch box is good.
2. Udon is normal.
3. Soonduboo (spicy tofu soup) is too sweet for me, below than average.
There is a large parking lot at the rear of this building.

Nice Japanese restaurant right on the main street of New Paltz. Service is excellent and the sushi is very good. You can either sit inside or out. Prices are very reasonable.
