You’re driving down Sunrise Hwy in Massapequa, make a quick stop at Leonardo’s. I go here for lunch 2-3x a week. I’m a one slice of pizza kinda guy. I usually get the buffalo slice, until one day Dominick(the owner) says to try the Nashville chicken slice. It’s a square slice with Nashville hot chicken, piled high with Cole slaw, pickles and the most delicious sauce ever! I did, and did again so many times. It’s a home run!! Today I opted for the Detroit slice. Holy moly, every bite had a crunch, every bite had the best tasting tomato sauce. I’m going on record, Leonardo’s has the best pizza in all of Massapequa. Every slice is phenomenal! And Dominick, the owner is an absolute sweetheart of a guy! You’ll go there once and then you’ll be a regular after that!

I was in town on business and ordered the Detroit style pizza slices. They were fa tasting and I wish I had bought more to take home with me. A bit greasy, but that’s what I like. The picture shows where it looks burnt, but it’s only the cheese that covers the edges and was delicious.

Yesterday was my sons birthday, casual fun. We found Leonardo’s on Google after the escape room. The moment I walked, instantly I knew we’d made an excellent choice. The food is authentic; emotionally so. I ate the pepperoni last night and just now heated up the Sicilian; I’m tearing up at how similar it is to my Grams Beetza. That’s what we called it, spelt phonetically. The service was warm, accommodating, welcoming; not just to us, a walk in party of 6, but to EVERY individual I observed interacting with the staff. And last, but certainly not least, Leonardo’s was covered in NY Jets pictures and memorabilia.
This is place is a gem and has the bomb hometown, nonnas house, Sunday dinner gravy (sauce to those who don’t iykyk) and really pizza is ALL about the Sauce!!!
Come one come everyone; 5 Stars Indeed!!!

Ordered through slice. Pizza slices were not hot at all. Garlic knots were burnt and also lacked any flavor.
Added meatballs and sausage to a slice but they didn’t add extra cheese to hold it down so it fell off once you lifted the slice.
All sicilian slices had burnt crusts as well.
Don’t order here if you want a decent experience. They’ll also accuse you of lying when you aren’t happy with your order.

The owner, Dominic, and his wife are amazing. We used to go into Brooklyn to L&Bs to get our weekly pizza. We now exclusively go here. Their baked clams are fresh, and we call them in to order. We get their plain pizza, and I absolutely adore their potato truffle slice and their vodka slice. They are very accommodating with my sesame allergy, and when I called to ask about it, the owner’s wife put me on hold to track down the correct information (there are no sesame seeds on the premises, in any dish, in any breading or any bread). We will continue to support this establishment and the owners because of their amazing attitude as well as their food, even though it’s quite a ways from where we live.

Stopped by for a quick slice and I am absolutely amazed. The mac and cheese slice is probably the best I’ve ever had, and their regular was PERFECTION.
Service was quick, prices were cheap, restaurant was clean, and I wish I’d found this place sooner. This little corner place has some of the best pizza on Long Island!!

We love the pizza kit there, and the owner is so sweet. My son enjoys stretching the dough and baking his own pizza at home.

I wish I could give them 10 stars as 5-star is not fair in compare to my other 5-star reviews. The food is insanely delish! Portions are BIG and super generous. The chief and staff are so nice and friendly. The best restaurant I’ve been while I was in NYC!
