The ambiance is both rustic and whimsical. Farm baskets have been ingeniously converted into hanging light fixtures, casting a soft, golden glow over each table. Our favorite local restaurant for 20 years. The food is amazing. Always fresh made with options from homemade soup, sandwiches, to amazing baked goods and waffles and yogurt (with fresh fruit, coconut and drizzled honey) available all day. Also, their assortment of drinks is wonderful with our favorite being the iced or Hot Dandy, iced or Hot Joe and the Hibiscus Cooler. Atmosphere is so inviting. Natural wood, stained glass, lots of plants. You feel like you are in an indoor tree fort. In the nice weather you can sit outside on the covered balcony to dine or sit outside at tables along the beautiful creek. In addition the entire restaurant plus bathrooms are exceptionally clean. They also have a small section of their own soaps, lotions, maple syrup Etc.

What a beautiful and unique interior. It’s like a polished tree grew in there, very very pretty. That’s where the niceties stop. The menu is extremely limited, they had flavored teas, root beer and not much else. Our waitress was not helpful at all. We had asked a couple of questions about a couple of their meals and we were told “I don’t know”, no offer to check with the chef. She did finally ask another waiter but it was evident she wasn’t happy about asking.
Food was okay. Not in a rush to ever go back there.

Everything was very nice – interior was unique and pleasant, food was delicious (ordered roast beef sandwich, waffle with fruits, mint latte and chai latte) and service was very attentive! Will come back again!

If you are like me and and live in the area , You get a lot of Friends and Family who come to visit. I love showing them around the amazing area that is the Catskills and the Capital Region and then taking them out to Lunch or Dinner.
After showing off our beautiful county sides, mountains and Waterfalls I am always looking for a unique place to take people that really screams country living and the Yellow Deli is just the place!
Soon as you walk in you are amazed by all the wood work and the country feel of the place, The food is delicious and the prices are more then fair. I for one highly recommend this as a place to take anyone who is visiting from out of the area or just as a daily place to stop by for a Great meal. The owners and staff are also very friendly to talk with and will show you around.

Great all day breakfast and food spot. Come hang out relax in the lodge like scenery with handcarved wood accents. Nice people and caring service 🙂
The food is good and hearty yet has also healthy options like carrot juice, dandy blend lattes and smoothies. The tiny fruit salad was surprisingly soo good! And the reuben sandwiches are my go to here. I love bougie upscale hipster spots yet there is something about getting a quality n AFFORDABLE meal in a cute themed scenery that really fits the mountain vibe.
I have been to other locations in colorado and im happy i spotted this one on the map. Worth the drive. Dont expect too much going on in this small town of durham though.
