Couldn’t be happier we stumbled upon this place! It’s in a little “industrial” type plaza and has a very industrial feel to it, but the service and food blew us away. Welcomed by a super helpful lady who led us through the menu and recommended some dishes. We got butter chicken flatbread, chicken biryani, samosas, pani puri and bahl puri. The food is just incredible. Full of flavor, perfectly cooked, amazing portions! The biryani has just the right little kick of spice and HUGE portions (2 orders for $15 and 3 of us will eat off of this for days). Best samosas I think I’ve ever had, super crisp outside with perfect potato and spice blend inside. I’ve never had bahl puri before but I’m in love- puffed rice, peanuts, onions, perfect flavors blended together. And the butter chicken flatbread was a super special treat! I got confused and thought it was just butter chicken and a flatbread but this was like a butter chicken pizza and was phenomenal. We will DEFINITELY be back and highly recommend this place!

Wonderful spot! Interesting selection and very polite staff. I had the samosas and a chicken dosa – among the best I’ve ever had. I like the down to earth atmosphere of this street food spot.

First time of many visits I ordered the Chicken Masala Hakka Noodles, it was very yummy with a good spicy flavor! A good amount for the price( could have had more chicken to balance the ratio of it and noodles) I truly enjoyed it! And the staff was friendly.

Found this place on a road trip and their aloo ka paratha and paneer sandwich were incredible. Very homely and very fresh. They have a very “bombay cafe” style esthetics and its a definite must try

What a hidden gem!! I was surprised that basically no one was in here on a friday night. Enjoyed their spicy Chicken Tikka Masala dinner special which came with a giant serving of rice, a lot of chicken chunks, and a fragrant gravy that was packed with flavor. The service is the usual order at counter affair and the people who helped me were super polite. I will definitely be returning to try out their other dishes and their other excellently priced specials.

Ate here yesterday for the first time. Delicious! My wife and I are excited to find an Indian restaurant nearby we both love.

We got lunch portions of the chicken chettinad and chicken kolhapuri. Hard to say which was better as they were both delicious. If you love spicy dishes these will hit your taste without being overpowering (we love spice and found the spice level around a medium). Amazing portions for the lunch dishes: you get a lot for a cool twelve bucks.

We also tried dahi puri for the first time and can highly recommend; the right blend of tartness and sweetness to offset the main dishes.

Only picked up but both workers–an older man and woman (owners, maybe?)–were very sweet and polite. The inside is clean and has the feel of a high-end hole-in-the-wall (if that makes sense).

If you’re looking for Indian street food that nourishes both the body and the soul, Chai Wyy Cafe is a place you shouldn’t miss.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by warmth—and much of that comes from the incredible hostess, Renu. She is a genuinely warm-hearted person whose positive energy reflects in everything she does. Her big, welcoming smile and motherly presence make you feel instantly at ease. Food here isn’t just about flavors; it’s about the good energy with which it’s prepared and served—and Renu embodies that spirit beautifully.

Originally from Mumbai, Renu brings authentic street-food magic to the table. Her vada pav and pav bhaji are among the best you’ll find—rich, comforting, and deeply satisfying. Every dish can be customized to your preferred spice level, making the experience personal and just right every time. The meals are delicious, yes—but they’re also served with care, gentleness, and heart.

I’ve been coming to Chai Wyy Cafe for a long time, and it remains a calm, quiet, and comforting space where you can truly slow down and enjoy your food. Consider this my two-cents’ advice: come here, try the food, meet Renu, and experience for yourself how good food paired with good energy can lift your day.

Highly recommended.

Paneer sandwich was delicious! I had never had anything like it. Three pieces of bread, paneer in tomato relish (just a tiny bit spicy) above the middle piece of bread,, mouth-cooling cucumbers, tomatoes, onions & mint relish in the bottom layer maybe along with a slice of cheese? Pressed like a panini. Really, really good. Super nice people. Win-win!

If you’re looking for a quick and satisfying Indian meal, this casual street food restaurant is a solid option. The atmosphere is laid-back, with a simple menu that you order from the counter.

While the food isn’t gourmet, it’s definitely flavorful and enjoyable. Expect a no-frills dining experience, but don’t let that fool you. The quality of the food is decent, especially considering the quick service.

Overall, this restaurant is a great choice for a casual and affordable Indian meal.
