We were really impressed with 221 Tap and Table. The ambiance was great—each table felt like a private booth—and most importantly, everything was very clean.
We started with the cheese curds, which arrived quickly and piping hot. They were perfectly crunchy without being oily, and the rosé sauce paired with them was tasty without overpowering. The portion was generous—definitely enough for 3–4 people to share.
My husband ordered the fried chicken melt with fries. The chicken was moist and flavorful, and the Texas toast was perfectly toasted. The fries were cooked well, and everything came out hot and fresh.
I ordered the fish and chips, and it did not disappoint. The three large pieces of fish were beautifully crispy and flavorful, fried to perfection with no greasiness at all. The tartar sauce added a great touch. It also came with Parmesan-dusted truffle fries, which were delicious, and a salad. My only minor complaint is that I wish the salad had been served in a bowl—the small flat plate made it easy to spill.
Our server was friendly and attentive.
Overall, we had a very satisfying experience! We’ll definitely be coming back and bringing our kids to try the brunch menu.

Had a great time, excellent beverage selection, including mocktails, and the food was phenomenal. The atmosphere and service was great too! Have been a few times and will likely go again! It’s a great date night or celebration spot.

Arrived to the restaurant we were promptly greeted and asked if we had a preference in seating. We chose a booth then were greeted within minutes by a waitress. Ordered a maple old fashioned and an expresso martini. The old fashioned was full of flavor however, the martini needs some help. Tastes like straight simple syrup. We ordered wings as an appetizer. They were full of flavor but the drums were very small. Our little one ordered spaghetti with a fruit cup which he thoroughly enjoyed. We ordered the bison burger and an 8 oz sirloin with asparagus. The bison burger was excellent. The sirloin was ordered medium but came out rare. The waitress did have it fixed.

I heard the jammin piggy burger is good so I tried. I think it would have been good if it was fresh from kitchen. It seemed like it sat for a while and wasn’t hot. The fries were hot though. We’ve been there several times and lately the food doesn’t seem as good as when it first opened. I’ve tried different things thinking it may be what I ordered. We had excellent service this time so I gave it 5 stars for service. However last time we went we heard our waitress say “I hate that section” right as we were being sat by the hostess. That made for an uncomfortable dinner 🙂

Second visit! I was very pleased with the dinner. The lasagna was amazing! Lots of flavor and good sized portions.

I would love to try that dip with sweet potato fries. The Gouda grits was also really delicious Lots of delicious options on the menu. I can’t wait to go back!!!

We’ve been here twice and delicious both visits. Their daily specials are extremely affordable (well, as affordable as prices can be nowadays)
Seating is comfortable. Service is good. Love the wings. Country fried steak was a hit with my dad. I loved the pork with bourbon peaches.
My only things that were less than stellar were the cocktails and the mac and cheese. My cocktail was great on taste but served room temp almost warm. The mac and cheese was just personal preference for me. My parents liked it.
Will be back next time we travel to Virginia from North Carolina.

Unexpected and delicious! What looks like another strip mall restaurant but the menu says otherwise. All the salads are plentiful and delicious. I liked that I could add protein so I selected the grilled salmon with my peach salad. It was beautifully done and tasted great. My husband had one of the daily special, which was fish and chips. The truffle fries had just enough truffle and parm. Not over the top. The fish was done to perfection as well. And it came with a lovely side salad. Everything was fresh and presented so wonderfully. And, the service was exceptional. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have eaten here many times and always loved the food and atmosphere. About a month ago, our takeout salads were incorrect and looked rushed, but the restaurant handled it wonderfully, they refunded us and even left a $20 gift card for our next visit.
When we came back in, they went above and beyond by comping our entire meal, and the chef personally came out to ensure everything was perfect.
Mistakes happen, but their customer service was outstanding. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

Our fist time dining with them. I really love mushrooms and I decided to try the mushroom risotto. It was seasoned very well and was super creamy. The pretzel bites and cheese is a very simple dish but was really delicious. The house salad had EVERYTHING in it and it was wonderful.
