Terrific nice casual restaurant and bar. My husband got sirloin that tasted like filet, cooked perfectly, and grilled shrimp and I got a dinner salad and we both got dessert and all was delicious. The menu has a good variety of food and drinks. The service was outstanding. I wasn’t a fan of the ceiling lined with upside down plastic succulents and some rows of fluffy things that aren’t cleanable, but they probably keep the noise level low as we had no problem having a conversation and feeling it was private, unlike about anywhere else we go. Update: we went back, this time for a birthday party, and it was terrific. Adding pictures.

We got the salmon with brussel sprouts, sirloin with Gouda mashed potatoes, the onion petals, and a Forester refresher. All were 10/10. The cook and flavor of the salmon was perfection. Will definitely be back.

It was a very chic restaurant. We went there for a late lunch and I got the chicken melt with cauliflower mac and cheese. It was delicious with red pepper aioli, avocado and bacon! The kid’s burger was on the smaller end of portion size but my son (8) was full when combined with their French fries.

Family friendly restaurant that includes a bar experience if desired. Interesting decor and ample parking. The food came promptly & servers were knowledgeable. The portion size is generous & food was great. Per my server if you have an allergy they’ll put a note on the order as it’s taken and walk it back to the kitchen. Any preparation or modification from that point on occurs within the kitchen staff and the item will be delivered to the table by a food runner. There are two hand dryers in the woman’s bathroom and they are located approximately 5 1/2 feet off the ground. Individuals with disabilities or children should bring a napkin to dry their hands.

This was my second time here and once again I found myself going with the steak. This time I went with the 8oz beef tenderloin and was not disappointed! A perfect medium rare beauty, and yes these potatoes were as good as they looked. Was immediately seated at a high top table in the bar area by a friendly hostess. Had the same waiter as the first time – I need to get his name because he was on point with food and drinks, top notch service from him both times. Next time I might try something other than the steak, but it’s so hard to stray from both the filet and the sirloin. This place is clean, not too loud on a Monday evening and the quality justifies the price.

Everything we ordered was great. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. We loved the spinach artichoke dip!! And we also enjoyed the cheese curds, brussel sprouts, fries, sweet potato fries, and the gouda mashed potatoes! My friends liked their burgers and my husband LOVED the fried Buffalo sandwich. The only thing that was lacking was the strawberry mozzarella salad, it would have been better with a spinach lettuce mix vs just spinach, it literally tasted like spinach and mozzarella and sweet sauce so it could have been better. Lastly, we ordered the smores dessert and enjoyed it but the ground graham made it dry. It could have used some type or creamy base to go along with the Hersey base. Overall we really enjoyed our experience and will be back! The restuarant is clean and that includes the restrooms.

The staff was extremely welcoming, our waiter had great recommendations, and everything tasted great! My Chicken Alfredo was delicious and the chicken was very moist. The peanut butter pie was soooo rich.. YUM! The atmosphere makes you feel like you left the Lynchburg/Forest area with a pretty unique plant life ceiling. I felt so bad for customers that arrived late as the power went out in a large portion of Forest, VA right when we finished our meal until 10:30pm so I’m sure that affected their grand opening! Please patronize this new Restaurant especially to offset the power outage situation they were dealt on their GO.

The place is great. The server was great. But they unfortunately do NOT know how to cook a burger. If you like your burgers well done, then you are safe. If you order them any other way, expect them well done and dried out anyway. This is only my second visit. And the last time was amazing. They even buttered and grilled my gluten free bun the last time. This time it was stale and dried out to go with the dried out burger. I was really disappointed. Yes I paid for it and yes, I still tipped the waiter because I don’t think it was his fault. If this was a restaurant I had been going to for years and 90% of the time it was perfect and other times it was barely edible, I would keep going. But 2 trips makes it 50/50 whether it will be right and I don’t like those odds. Sorry 221 Tap and Table. Thought you were going to be my turn to place to grab a good solid bite to eat but I’m out.
