We drove up to Central City from Colorado Springs and stopped here for lunch. Cajun/Creole egg rolls initially sounded strange, but they were delicious!!!! We got a Andoullie sausage roll, a Muffulleta roll, a Gouda grits roll, a Voodoo roll, and a bowl of red beans and rice with blackened shrimp.
Absolutely delicious! It reminded us of trips to New Orleans from years back. She threw in a cup of Swamp Soup which we we definitely be ordering next time we drop by.
We are very glad to have skipped the casino restaurants, very highly recommended.

This is a gem! Seriously the sweetest woman runs this beautiful restaurant. The decor made me feel like i was back in the french quarter.
Wonderful section for a menu!
We got two rolls the gyro and the andouille sausage and the hush puppies. When I tell you I couldn’t pick a favorite between the two because both were incredible.
This is now an absolute must stop when we come to Blackhawk!

So unexpected – but so worth it. We had yummy eggrolls, the Cole slaw was delicious, and I just had to take home a box of beignets! Well worth the stop!

Delicious! We tried a few things for lunch and everything was great. The beignets were my favorite. I will be back! The owner said they have live music Thursdays from 4-6!

Oh my gosh! I am so glad that I stumbled upon Lan Yap Cafe! If you like homemade Cajun food, then you will love this place! My two favorites so far are the Blackened shrimp roll and the Swap soup! Absolutely delicious!

As a native Texan I can say this hidden gym felt just like home. The food was amazing, spot on seasonings and sauces. I got the jambalaya, shrimp roll, and fried okra. Honestly as good if not better than cajun restaurants down south. Also not to mention the wonderful service the owner Martina gave me. Recommend 10/10, will be coming up here again when in the area.
