Evidently he is not a good people person or manager. Didn’t even apologize for the mistake.
Last night, we ordered a party special with a 19-inch pepperoni pizza, two orders of cheese sticks, a Big Red sandwich, and a cookie. While the cookie and cheese sticks were acceptable, the pizza was overladen with sauce and cheese. The sandwich, which was supposed to be a Big Red, turned out to be an Italian.
I called the store and asked for a Big Red replacement, which they prepared. After picking it up and returning home, I discovered the sandwich lacked the Red sauce, the integral component that makes a Big Red. Additionally, they didn’t remake the fries. Although there was nothing inherently wrong with the fries, they had turned cold by the time I got back home from the store, so I would have appreciated a fresh batch.
I’m tired of spending a significant amount on Giovanni’s, which isn’t cheap, only to receive subpar food. If you plan to visit a Giovanni’s, I recommend trying another location, such as the one on Greenup Avenue.
Oh, let’s not forget that the employees complained when the construction workers had to leave. They had to go back to work after they paid $12 each for half a meal, just like I did. They didn’t have time to sit and wait like we did to see if the employees would take advantage of them.
