I’ve been coming to Crown Fried Chicken on Broadway in Long Branch for years, and it never disappoints. As someone who’s not of the Muslim faith, I don’t follow halal dietary laws myself, but I genuinely appreciate how much of a difference it makes here. Knowing they adhere to strict standards means they’re using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, no shortcuts, no questionable sourcing. The food tastes noticeably cleaner and more flavorful because of it.
The fried chicken is absolutely perfect: crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, with that ideal seasoning that keeps you coming back. It’s not greasy or over-breaded like some places, just spot-on every time. And the macaroni salad? Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Creamy, perfectly seasoned, with that homemade touch that makes it stand out from typical side salads.
The place is always clean, the staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, they greet you with a smile and make you feel like a regular even if it’s your first visit. It’s no wonder Crown Fried Chicken is a staple in the Long Branch community. Affordable, delicious, and feel-good food. I love their food , for the most part it’s always good never really had an issue when it comes to the freshness and the flavor, It’s always cooked to order… I must say Word Is Bond this was the best fish I ever had I mean bursting with flavor, crispy, and juicy. Whoever cooked this kudos to you because it was amazing… The fries was also very good nice and fresh..Will be back soon, keep up the good work!!!

I’ve been coming to crowns since I was in high school and it’s just something about the fried chicken and fries that just are always right! I miss the old staff I don’t see them much but I see their sons are working here and I think that is amazing! John! I remember him always being so pleasant and welcoming especially to the kids/teenagers that use to come late hours eat and hang out. Definitely will always be a staple in my memories. Much love and stay blessed Crowns. I been to the one in asbury and it just does not hit the same as the one here in long branch

This food is ok if ur drunk. Actually, I wouldn’t even say that. I had this the other night, and the next day I had explosive diarhhea, the worst nausea I’ve ever felt, and consistent vomiting. also, for background info, I’ve never thrown up in my 20 years of living. But I did yesterday from this. Please never eat here if you want to stay healthy. Wish I cld give this 0 stars. The chicken also was so greasy and bad.
