This is a homey old time supper club. Food is good but not fancy and definitely not low calorie. Veggies were steamed, still colorful and had some crispness. We had walleye dinner and a Chicken wing appetizer. Fish was hand breaded and pan fried. Wings were big cooked all the way through but still juicy. Everything was clean, staff were friendly and frisky. Obviously popular with seniors.

Our baseball game was rained out so we stopped here on our way home. We will be back! Our food was delicious and the service was attentive but not intrusive. We had the sirloin steak med rare, pork burnt ends, a slider basket, and the chocolate bundt cake for dessert. That bundt cake is a little chunk of heaven on a plate. State hwy 56 is a beautiful drive and Dennison is only a few miles west.

One of our favorite local gems. Joe, Michelle, and their team make every experience wonderful. Pan fried Parmesan Crusted Walleye is a favorite! The homemade soups and desserts are always delicious. Service is always consistently good, and it’s fun to watch the customers visiting amongst the tables because they know each other.

My birthday today and received a $10.00 dollar off coupon so went here for dinner. Place was extremely busy and packed. Ordered the fish dinner and was awesome! Buns so soft and warm. Took over an hour for food but waitress was new and kept letting us know they were busy, and didn’t forget about us. A great night to have! Highly recommend Fireside Lounge.

Great spot to stop at if you are in the area. We were at Nerstrand Big Woods State Park and found this gem on the way home. A quaint place with a large menu. Because we stopped after 4pm they had the full dinner menus plus regular stuff. We tried their two Friday specials, ribs dinner and fish platter. Both were great. Ribs were tender and fish was very good. Not too much batter and big pieces. Come hungry! Baby baked potatoes were good as well as the beans. And the desserts….wow. Homemade and delicious. Our cosmopolitans were also very good.

What a wonderful find! I had their Minnesota Power Bowl with fried Brussels sprouts and it was so good. Wait staff was awesome and was greeted and seated as soon as we came in. We went on Friday night at 5:30.
