I think this place is under new ownership or current owners have just gotten extremely cheap about how they serve everything now. If you look at my photos, their lunch special for the chicken teriyaki and roll is completely different. The portion size now is half of what it used to be. They also took off the chicken katsu as a lunch special. There are no more soup either but they still do have hot tea. The teriyaki sauce was overly sweet and not coating a good portion of the chicken. I understand that small businesses are struggling but I also think that this is going to hurt their business more.

The service here is good, the cashier greeted everyone who came in and bid farewell to the ones that left. She would clean dirty tables whenever she could as she was getting a good amount of take-out, dine-in and delivery orders. She also provides you with napkins and utensils when the food arrives. Though, I was confused when we asked her to sub white rice for fried rice, she had to ask the chef.

In terms of quick asian food or takeout, I think it is the best one around the area.

There are a lot of asian restaurants in the area to choose from but if you want some quick takeout that has good flavor, doesn’t short you on the portions and is very decently priced, I say come here.

Recommend any of the Udon noodle dishes or the bento boxes.

Used to be by far the best teriyaki place in fed way, but not anymore. While chicken is still good, the absolute lack of sauce is astounding. And if you want extra, you have to buy it. Won’t be back again

Absolutely amazing teriyaki spot! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made perfectly every time. The teriyaki is tender and juicy, the portions are generous, and the sauce is hands-down some of the best I’ve had. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the place is always clean. This has become my go-to spot when I’m craving comfort food that never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Some of the best bento box options I have found anywhere. Delicious soups as well as great options for everyone. I often come here for my lunch and would recommend it to anyone wanting to try something fast and satisfying.

The portions for the price are fantastic, and the food is extremely tasty. The dude who took my order wasn’t very friendly, but honestly it didn’t bug me too much. Really good teriyaki.

Good food for what it is. Just as good as any small teriyaki place.

Although be weary or small shards of bone. Got pork yakisoba and almost crushed all the way down on this little guy. Not trying to break a tooth so I’ll probably never go back there but not because the food isn’t good.

Ichi Teriyaki is conveniently located near Trader Joe’s in Federal Way, with a cozy seating area for about 32 guests. When you arrive, you order and pay at the front counter first—there wasn’t a greeting, and I did have to repeat my chicken teriyaki order a few times to the male server.

The dish was $14.12, tax and tip included. While waiting, I noticed another customer get a bowl of soup from the counter, which I assumed was complimentary—I wish the server had mentioned that when I ordered. I did know that water from the soda machine was free, but I wasn’t sure about the hot tea—so I probably should’ve asked.

When my chicken teriyaki arrived, it was massive—served on a generous platter. I ate about three-quarters before feeling completely full.

There was no greeting, no check-in on how the food was, and nothing about the free offerings. It wasn’t a big deal, but I mention it since other teriyaki spots I’ve been to have a bit more interaction.

Still, the portion and overall value earn Ichi Teriyaki a solid four stars from me.

Not a real good deal,$16 bucks for the basic terriaki chicken.pretty small proportions and she said there was enough sauce on it . NOPE! When I got to the bus station, had enough time to take a few bites and wasn’t to pleased with what I got! Salad was fresh but only a few leaves & of course didn’t have time to deal with it. So I had to grin and bare it! Figured I would let everyone know this way, that I wouldn’t go out of my way for the place but if you happen to be walking by . I wouldn’t refuse it!
