We’ve been coming here for a number of years; to have a bite to eat and hit some balls next door. But if you’re looking for a nice choice of inexpensive lunch options, including several tasty hot dog/hamburger choices, and killer onion rings and fries, WITH, a view of the mountains, you should drop in for a visit. Service on the patio was excellent as well. Sorry for the blurry pics..

The worst place to be, this Casey manager and and the bar with the back of the kitchen of this house. The are not qualified to run any kind of hospitality business. That place it’s really disaster. The food is dirty. The kitchen is dirty. And they have no respect for individual customers.

Small, appears to have an outdoor seating area, but there are no servers in sight. Of 10 tables with people sitting at them (but still plenty of seating), only 1 has ordered food and received it. No drink service is happening at the tables – everyone is having to order at the bar. Appears the only person working here is the bartender. I came ready to order food and drinks (cocktails), but seems that they are only ready to serve beer and sodas.

Food was horrible. Only two people in restauarant. Had hot honey chicken and fries. Chicken was 1/8 inch thick over cooked and fries cold. Server was like” O Welll” when I told her it wasn’t good. NO reason to go back…

So disappointing!! We are here for our kids’ hockey games constantly, and the geniuses decided that the Avalanche players needed a bigger fancier lounge, so screw the parents’ viewing area at the restaurant, it’s completely gone. So that the NHL players have a cool hangout space. Now, there is no reason to even spend money at the restaurant because you can’t watch your kids’ game at the same time. The restaurant is a 1/3 of the size. What a stupid decision.
Thank you for responding. Unfortunately, the seating area you’re referring to has cheap plastic chairs, and there are only 4 tables. No servers ever come out there either. So, my review still stands.

We had a great experience with the staff. We were attending a soccer tournament down the street and had 3 hours to kill between games on a rainy and cold day. We showed up right at opening with 12 kids and their families. The staff did an amazing job taking care of us. They were willing to make sure the players had their food quickly so that they didn’t have to rush to eat. The parents were all taken care of just as well, and the food was great!

Used to be good. We ordered 2 sandwiches, mozz sticks, and Nachos-order took almost 30 minutes to arrive (couple at the next table cam in after us, got their nachos, ate, paid and left before our food arrived). When food DID arrive, the mozz sticks & chicken in the chicken sandwich was burned (completely black) the BLT was literally dripping water and was just mush. The nachos were ok though. The server come and collected our plates all with 4/5 of the food left. She asked if everything was ok and my husband told her that lunch was pretty bad and her reply was to laugh and said “well that’s ok”. I told her NO it isn’t ok and explained why. She said “if you ever come back we’ll do better.” $50 for inedible food and staff that doesn’t care at all. Why would we go back?

This is bar food, but even by bar food standard, it’s not that great. I had the Philly cheese steak which was a roll with very dry meat and plasticy cheese with some onion and bell peppers. I found myself dipping it in ketchup to get it down. The bar was full of hockey parents waiting on their kids game to be over and the bartender seemed quite overwhelmed. He served one customer the wrong drink and me as well; I ordered a pale ale and he gave me an IPA instead. I guess the draw would be to come here to watch the Avalanche practice (non game days when they are in town around 11 or 11:30). As for me, I won’t be back. I suggest the Perfect Landing restaurant which is just south of the Avalanche grill and has much better food and service.

Had to order food for my daughter’s 5th birthday at lollipop park. Our experience was terrible. I called a day in advance as suggested. Told them I needed the door to be served by 3:30. They asked that I check in when I arrive at 3:00. I went to check in and had to wait in a 15 minute long line. They assured me at that time the food would be ready by 3:30. At 4:00pm I went and asked what was the deal, the cashier said they were coming now. 15 minutes later at 4:15 they rolled out our platters with no plates, napkins, ketchup or drinks that we had ordered, this would be another 10 minute wait. All the while my guests had already purchased snack foods since they were hungry. The chicken nuggets were hard, burnt and dry! I asked for a manager and all the staff had no clue how to contact anyone. $105 on 3 platters of snacks, burnt nuggets and cold pizza bites, 45 minutes late! Beware of this concession stand, low quality, no customer service and no one to make things right!

The Avalanche Grill is a great place to eat. The food is very good. Its menu has good variety. Because it is hard to find, it is normally not crowded. But when you know where it is, it is easy to get to. So it is a great place to meet with people when you need to talk. But if you come on Saturdays when the kids are playing hockey, the place is very busy with kids and parents. But it is never a problem on weekday lunches.
