We had dinner here this evening for the first time and wow- what a beautiful little restaurant. As a vegetarian there is so much to choose from- and the food was delightfully fresh and tasty. But most of all the service was so warm and attentive. We especially liked the jasmine tea in the beautiful tea pot! Would definitely recommend.

Our favourite place to eat in Crouch End. The food is delicious and great value for money. Zaomba looked after us many times, and each time we left talking about her impeccable attentiveness, kindness and professionalism; an asset to the business. Best service of 2025! Simple but so few establishments deliver it like this. Dashing in speed and charm. Through the rolling hills of crouche end, my tap water arrived with haste as soon as I was welcomed through the door and to the table. No hesitancy in taking the order. Flavours bursting out from a full bowl of pho. Everything’s perfect and the bill comes as soon as you ask for it. Well done and a great playlist

Probably one of the best Vietnamese I have came across in Europe. Absolutely amazing dishes. Even the duck is incredible. Delicious prepared and quality products. Staff is friendly and quick service. This restaurant has very authentic and delicious Vietnamese food. We had the spring rolls which were crispy and tasty, the sesame toast which was crunchy and delicious. We also had the beef noodle soup, which the broth was incredibly rich and fragrant as well as the banh xeo pancakes which had lots of fresh delicious vegetables. The service was also great as the waiters and waitresses are both attentive and friendly. Thank you for having us!

We are residents of Crouch End and this amazing restaurant is easily up there, if not the best we have eaten in. The staff are so welcoming and recommended great choices. We spoke with the owner who is such a lovely guy, and he has so much passion for his food. And rightly so as it is delicious! He gave us some great recommendations of what to eat.
The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, and the interior is very nice and comfortable.
My partner ordered BÚN SẢ CHAY with beef and I had the Crispy Egg Noodles Stir-Fried with mixed vegetables with Tofu. We both rated our meals as 10/10. I can’t express how lovely the food was. Also, the beers (We had one from South Vietnam and the other from North Vietnam) and were lovely. We were also given table water which I think is always a nice touch.

A good friend treated me to a belated birthday meal and I wish she had saved the £80 she ended up spending.
Unfortunately the food wasn’t great!
The salted squid dish arrived cold, around 10 mins after the satay chicken was delivered. It would have been nice to have had all the starters on the table at the same time. The chicken satay was good, but it’s hard to mess that up!
For mains, the mango salad was ordered along with rice noodles, sizzling chicken in black bean sauce and the fish with dill.
The chicken was chewy and the sauce tasteless, some of the mangoes in the salad still had their skin on and the fish came with an after taste which made them inedible, eaten begrudgingly by my friend who was hungry, I couldn’t.
We spoke to the management who took the defensive and blamed Waitrose- where the mangoes had been bought and told us the fish tasted exactly as it should.
He was so rude, I asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill. And I don’t like to do this as I know how the hospitality industry is struggling, but this guy insinuated we were to blame for the food not being up to scratch .
Such a shame as we were both looking forward to visiting this restaurant, that my friend had frequented approx 15 years ago and had raved about over the last few months.
For a well established, long running restaurant this was disappointing and maybe the owners need to take customer feedback more seriously.
Apologies to the nice young lady who served us who was disadvantaged from the removal of the service charge due to the extremely rude head waiter/ owner.
