Hidden gem in the way to death valley. Great Mexican food, we got beef fajitas, one of the soups and they gave us complimentary nachos. Very very tasty, and prices are pretty good.

Cannot recommend El Valle enough! It is a gem in the middle of no where. It looks run down but don’t let that fool you! We went for dinner and returned for breakfast the next morning. You cannot go wrong with the chicken diablo!! I had the egg enchiladas for breakfast which were delicious. We wish we lived closer so this could be our go-to Mexican joint! Don’t pass it up!

If I could give this place 10 out of 5 – I would. No-nonsense delicious food, service was amazing. Completely made our trip! Enchiladas Montadas, Burrito, Torta Adobada, and Churros, with Piña Jarritos. Stop by whenever you’re in the area!

The store looks unattractive but the food is surprisingly good. You don’t see inflation here. The price is so cheap but the quantity is big and food quality is so good. The beef is still sizzling in the plate. No wonder the review is good. 10 times better than the garbage food in Death Valley National Park.

What you expect from a Mom&Pops type of restaurant. For any Death Valley travellers, this is an ideal stop after a 2-3 Hour drive.
You might think their food prep time is a little long, but they are cooking most of your main course stuff right from scratch.
Tried the Pulled Pork Sandwich and it was amazing. Save the other half for lunch and it still tasted great the day after and sitting in my car for a few hours from the fridge during another hiking trip. Must be Bruja magic, I do not know.
Chicken Fajitas scoop from the plate was a fun one for me. Everything tasted great.
I was the only Chinese guy out of country there, so I know I didn’t fit in, but I still felt taken care of there.

Update: We skipped breakfast at The Ranch at Death Valley and headed here to have our breakfast.
Service: was surprisingly good. Though masks are not mandated, the waiter (who also might be the owner) put one on. We were immediately seated and attended on, specials advised. The menu is too big for a small restaurant like this.
Ambience: not much to say here. Is a hall with four walls. It needs a lift-up. It is clean, however.
Food: was good. Not fancy, but good. Did not like the meat on the chef salad, but fortunately, they brought the ingredients without mixing. The rest of the stuff we had was delicious, especially the crepe.
Experience: was surprisingly pleasant. Recommend it.
