I found this gem trying to avoid Chicago I-90 traffic and apparently just took the right exit. I was here on October 5, 2022.
We don’t have any fish joints like this where I live so it’s always a treat. It was a 12-15 minute wait for my order which was perfect because I need to gas up my car across the street.
I ordered the Catfish plate and it was everything I hoped for! Crispy, delicate and flavorful I didn’t want that fish to end! Thank you for a great meal!

Made this a stop on our trip. We obviously stopped at the wrong JJ fish. We ordered fish and 3 wings. I will skip to the food because everything else; atmosphere, environment, and seating was not for a family who wanted to sit and eat. The fish crust was well seasoned but the fish itself was watery in the center and the wings were not seasoned.
I think we should have stopped at one of the other 2.

For $19 Food, ♀️ it’s overcook so nasty with grease residue from using the same oil several times (black) and hard like a bench specially the cat fish, wings were okay. Whenever you called who ever answer is so rude too.
